It's not actually 5D(it's 4D) but it gets really crazy since you can create parallel timelines and setup checkmates into the past and across dimensions.
There are a lot of games that I won where I parked a bishop a few tiles away from their king and let the advancement of time give me a checkmate into the past

Solutions become inflated with perfect input sequences.
It results in solutions that give players a feeling of "oh fuck finally", rather than "yeah thats cool and im cool for getting it".
