I think it's better than Breath of the Wild

Also do you think they will remake oracle of ages and seasons?

more like Link's Frame Dropening

This is better than the Switch version.

I feel like they'll do it eventually, but not anytime soon.
That being said, they could do it in the exact same engine and it'd be fine.

Kinda hard to fuck up remaking a Game Boy on modern tech, but by god they did it. Even if it ran perfectly, all you're left is with a short and easy game

If they do I just want a different artstyle.

They would be better off just making a new 2d zelda

>more like Link's Frame Dropening

The framerate of the original drops to ZERO every time you leave the screen.

Kek, nah the remake is the definitive way to play this classic game.

Fuck no i hated a link between worlds just remake old stuff and i'm fine

ALBW was a rehash. The LA remake shows they're capable of making 2d zelda games, they just have to put that effort into something new. If you want to play the old games just play the old games.

ALBW was peak modern Zelda. Non-linear yet also had traditional dungeons.
Only thing they needed to fix was limiting it to 1 rental item at a time so you couldn't be endgame Link within an hour.

>If you want to play the old games just play the old games
I would but i really got used to switch remake so i hate the constant item swapping in ages and seasons

Link's Awakening is the best fucking game in the franchise.

And no, they won't.

>ALBW was a rehash

Oh fuck off you pathetic mentally ill schizo. For YEARS you had been begging Nintendo to remake ALTTP.

Nintendo went one better and gave you a pseudo remake - an entirely new game in the same world with its superb gameplay mechanics, dungeons, quests.

Get fucked. Plebs like you annoy me. Everything is shit to you joyless fucks.

>Link's Awakening is the best fucking game in the franchise
Only if it's the switch version
Nah it was trash full with gimmicks and in game cutscenes that i hated

>they completely ruined alttp and shit out a worse game in every possible way
FTFY

I'm still amazed they managed to ruin Link's Awakening.

>they completely ruined alttp and shit out a worse game in every possible way

In what way is ALTTP "ruined"?

Answer this so I can see how deep your psychosis goes.

>I'm still amazed they managed to ruin Link's Awakening.

But they didn't. They made it better in every way. There's no reason to ever play the original ever again.

Unless.... of course... you don't own a Switch.

You've got me pegged for the person, the fact that I was saying I would prefer new games instead of remakes should have made that obvious. I liked albw, that doesn't mean it isn't a rehash, but I hate that 2d zelda just isn't in a good state, like let's look at the past 2d games, we have a remake, a gimmicky multiplayer game, a rehash and 2 gimmicky ds games which leaves the last proper original 2d game being minish cap, 16 years ago. ALBW and LA show that they can still make good 2d games, I just want them to do that on a new game that isn't a remake or a big rehash.

ALBW is one of the best 2D Zeldas.

>better
>frame drops
>Yoshi's gay little recorders
>still locked to a grid
>Dampé added nothing of worth
No, not really.

Based, I love that game and I wish it got a sequel

>limited directions because of GB game
>doesnt actually let you use the d pad for movement
Lol.

Nah, the improved controls and unique artstyle make the remake an objective improvement.

The item renting system is shit in that game. They had to design the dungeons to be as simple as possible, as if you only had the required item because of that baffling decision. I would not trade linearity away at the expense of dungeon design like that game.

LTTP > ALBW any day of the week

yes but switchcucks need to defend their shitty $60 hackjob

Why are you telling me this, I said that already, I said it was good twice in the post you're replying to. I just think it's time for something new instead of endless remakes and rehashes. I feel like new 2D zelda games are more important now than ever since BoTW basically killed traditional 3d zelda, so our only hope for traditional zelda games is through 2d ones.

You forgot the boots fucking suck ass

>mfw I have a Switch but didn't waste money on the remake because I have a perfectly fine version on my 3DS

my man

Capcom made the games so its unlikely, but if they did I hope they don't do it in this god awful style.
I feel like the game is trying to get me to go to my nearest Nintendo(tm) store and buy plastic toys.

Game is in widescreen
Game now scrolls rather than being flickscreen
New modes
New quests
New content
A plethora of QoL improvements
Game looks and sounds lush as fuck
Being on Switch means its simultaneously on my tv AND handheld

Yeah, you ain't convincing anyone.

I really like the art direction
>god awful style
This is how i feel like about BotW

>pointless extra fluff
>worse framerate
>"portable" on a bulkier platform
Yawn.

A man of taste

Been playing LA every year as traditional.

Now I have this gorgeous deluxe remake on Switch and I'll never need to go back to the original ever again. Feels good.

I don't want them in the same style as the LA remake. It's cute, but I feel it ruined the mood. I also don't want them to drag a unique style into the ground like Yoshi did.

That's nice. I can also replay LA every year and bought a new game instead.

>>pointless extra fluff
Kek

>>worse framerate

I can see liking it more. Its cute, simple, and kind of charming. BotW has a great style, but it very much over stays its welcome with its side content of shrines, findings, few enemies, and lack of music.

Heavy doubt on Ages/Seasons since they aren't in house Nintendo. Probably end up like Super Mario RPG, one of the best games with Nintendo characters, but made by others.

I could go for this. I know most would disagree by I think the ratio of high quality Zelda games to less good ones is better in the 2D titles over the 3D titles.

I sort of miss a cute adventure I can beat in a weekend with some replay value over something long with little replay that I get tired of before the end.

Link between worlds was great. Only mistake was telegraphing what item was needed for what dungeon

>Framerate on the original drops to ZERO every time you leave the screen
Meanwhile the remake drops to 10 while you're on screen. Yikes.

I hate how cartoony they've made the handheld Zelda games.

Everything was fine until they turned Link into a kid in the GBA port for ALttP.

user, you should know better by now. For every entry in the series someone loves, another person also hates. There's no trying to make someone understand your POV with this series.

>assumes some random user said the same thing as some other random user
>calls others schizos

>shitty analog only controls but still limited directional movement

It's embarrassing being associated with you delusional fucks. I grew up with Nintendo products and I don't defend the LA remake from being anything more than an ugly disaster. DX or bust.

I think the idea of a more "kiddie" look fits the game, but they went too far with it.
It makes me think of those army men games where everything is made of plastic.

>I sort of miss a cute adventure I can beat in a weekend with some replay value over something long with little replay that I get tired of before the end.
And thats why i love the switch remake even more
Dilate already

>improved controls
>still the same movement
>you can't even use the d-pad
