Guilty Gear or Blazblue?

I know that GG characters have a lot of gimmicks but BlazBlue goes way overboard on it to the point where it feels like characters are less defined by typical archetypes and moreso by whichever special snowflake meter they have. I also hate BB's aesthetic and can't think of a single character who seems genuinely cool or well designed.

not a big fan of most BB characters but I like both series.

I like both, but GG is my all time fave
I think relius, hazama, hakumen, izanami and arakune look really cool

I guess Guilty Gear. BlazBlue has genuinely some of the worst character designs I have ever seen. Guilty Gear has some designs but I would take GG and everyone's ten thousand belts over the abominations in BB any day.

I wasn't too big on BB at first but i'll say it has grew on me the more I play it.
I like GG a lot but I cant play +R because shitty netcode and my PC is too shit to handle Xrd's online.
I'll say I like both franchises the same

You know, I was going to shit on you but that's actually fair. I don't love Baiken but I think she's at least a little more visually interesting and distinct compared to him, though Hakumen's design is a lot better then most of BB's cast.

I really love Millia but I find Noel more interesting right now, hopefully Strive will develop Millia more

I don't know much about BB story after the first game, all I know is Noel was an annoying insecure sperg and I like my girls confident.

KoF-and really SNK in general-has always had better character design than Capcom's generic ethnic caricatures.

Both series have cool designs but I think Guilty Gear has higher peaks overall, I can't remember a character from BlazBlue that I like as much as I-No or Johnny
Strive is ruining the designs though, well Xrd already did for example with Millia

I agree (aside from Izanami) but I'm either indifferent towards or hate most of their personalities. Hazama is pretty fun all around but he's dragged down by being tied to a much lamer character.

They're both overdesigned but BB takes it to a ridiculous level. Some of the characters are a pain to look at.
