I don't believe he's SUPER hard to learn, at least the basics, but he does have more tools than the rest of the cast. If you run through the mission mode at least, you should be able to get some easy bread and butter combos to get started. From there, you can look up guides and see what's more efficient. Or maybe just start at the guides if you have prior fighting game experience.
