Nah, Nintendo's biggest strength is that they make unique consoles which inspire unique games. Just look at the DS's library, so many unique game ideas that wouldn't exist otherwise.

Atleast the ps4 had some good games. The generation itself was actually pretty stale and boring. The consoles were weak at the start and never gave developers a chance to make something truly great.
