Why did you stop playing MMOs Zig Forums? They are tons of fun!

ugly

dumb whore
i calculated how much i spent in the cash shop of Dungeons&Dragons:Online and dropped the entire genre
get some sleep schizo
how much was it user?
i haven't spent a single coin in the BDO cash shop but i have thought of it many times. but they give you enough free stuff during events now to make it bearable
I stopped extracting any joy out of them. All the people that made them fun had moved on. The only time I go on to one is to ERP
>All the people that made them fun had moved on
just meet new people and make them fun again
>The only time I go on to one is to ERP
pretty based. i never ERP before and don't feel like doing it but i respect the autism
I didn't stop, I still ERP in WoW once a week
is that all you do in WoW, how are your ERP sessions like?
i like to do my dailies in BDO and then lifeskill a lot. grinding can be fun but its tiresome
>is that all you do in WoW
Pretty much. I play on a private RP server for WoW, but I also play Lord of the Rings Online every now and then for actual gameplay. I also roleplay in that, but not ERP
>how are your ERP sessions like?
Not sure how you want me to describe this. Fun? I wouldn't do it if I didn't enjoy it.
>heterochromia
How original
i stopped counting at $300
Why ERP in WoW instead of somewhere like F-list? Is it a voyeur thing?
too busy playing gacha shit
seems like RPing is the common thing to do in MMOs to have fun. LotR online had really fun gameplay but leveling was ass
i already know you are retarded user, please leave
>$300
thats not a lot of cash, maybe u went up to $1000 but its still nothing compared to whales in BDO
thats cool, are you going to play gacha impact this 19th?
>gacha
>play
lmao good one
I HAVEN'T FINISHED A NEW GAME IN LIKE 2 YEARS BECAUSE I WASTE ALL MY TIME ON FUCKING MMOS AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
>bought BDO for $2.99 just to look at the underwear
Waiting for one in a dark enough setting. A horror mmo where you can play as a monster.
fuck off dumb avatarfag
Cause all I want to do is gather and craft, which FFXIV is the only one I can seem to do that with decent effort in. Only problem is its been awhile since I logged into my trial account and now it won't allow me to use my trial account to download the trial.
I liked playing ESO's wpvp but the guild i'm in is run by a really boring girl and our runs are only fun when she's gone and one of our officers are in charge.
I like the setting, even if I don't like the newer lore overly much, and I like having visuals to go with the text.
>LotR online had really fun gameplay but leveling was ass
Yeah, I've never managed to reach max level after 1,400 hours of gameplay. Exploring is great, though. I'll always love fighting Angmarim with the view of Lake Evendim in the background
this happens to me a lot. recently bought the amalur remaster but i can't find the time to actually play it
they gave it away for free a few weeks ago with a twitch promo oof
wasn't the Secret World dark fantasy setting. never got into it sadly
>Cause all I want to do is gather and craft, which FFXIV is the only one I can seem to do that with decent effort in.
have you tried Amazon New World? I got my hands in the beta and the crafting in that game was really fun and engaging, you will probably like it
>avatar use
BDO died for me when they """remastered""" it and crushed what little soul that fucking game had left at that point. Node wars also became like a second job, but at least the general was fun back in the day when the game first launched
damn that sucks man, luckily my guild has a lot of tryhard sweaty kids that like to node war a lot so i get to enjoy wpvp a lot with them, tho its a lot of stress to hear these mental cases scream on the mic for calls
>Yeah, I've never managed to reach max level after 1,400 hours of gameplay.
this happened to me too, reaching Moria was tons of fun but felt like my character was really underleveled so i quit the game right there, i had enough
BDO is ok to play casually during events where they give out free shit
Aside fom that its just a soul crushing mob grinder. Would have been forgotten years ago if not for the good combat
>have you tried Amazon New World?
Nope. Is it FtP?
MMOs are dead. Most/All MMOs, even most games nowadays lack the sense of wanderlust ,adventure and curiosity that got me into games in the first place.
what do you mean it crushed it? the game looks so much better now and better optimization too. i remember losing like 20fps just because it was raining back then.
its ok to play hard now too with the season servers, you can literally skip to 265 AP 300 DP thanks to the brain dead tuvala gear and 200% xp perma events, free pets, outfits, all of it if you play as a season character.
the beta is free but its one time buy. there is going to be another beta this november for free so you should check that out and subscribe, see if you can get in for free
>Is it FtP?
I think it's buy to play, like ESO and BDO.
cute
exploring in BDO is tons of fun, there are lots of cools places to find and you get rewarded with knowledge which makes your character brain grow and get stronger. also if you are into photography screenies nature in that game is beautiful
>what do you mean it crushed it?
Bells and whistles and optimization do not = soul and judging by your screenshots and what I experienced of remastered, no it doesn't look better.
They also changed the music in different places and they re-recorded voicelines which lost the charm the original shitty dialogue and ham acting had. I'm sure it's fine if you get into the game post-remaster and these things become what you remember but when you played before and get all that just taken away from you then it sucks. Olvia's original music was nostalgic as fuck and it's gone
