Any game like Warhammer Total War, Crusader Kings, etc that represents units by a single comically oversized character. The Civilization games especially. It just really breaks my head to see that shit and I only stomach Total War because the fights take place in an actual battlefield but stuff like Civ, they fight on an overworld and seeing a gigantic 100 foot tall archer take out a tank is just stupid to me.

What would you even do in this situation? They wouldn't leave if you asked them

Pokémon but actually backwards, I found out about the Anime first so when I played Red I was slightly disappointed, Silver didn't change much, Emerald added a few things and better graphics but it was still the same thing, Platinum was fun but not the Pokémon I wanted, Soul Silver was a step in the right direction but holy shit everything after it was a shitshow, it became apparent they wouldn't drop the archaic system for no reason at all, I even preordered X when I read it was the jump to 3D, but it was still the same shit.

I gave up on a proper adventure.

I was the same once, but I'm gonna be that guy and tell you that the artwork is very unrepresentative of the game. The story and characters are trash for sure, but the gameplay really is great. Pirate it, if you're afraid of someone seeing it on your steam library or something. I don't think you'll regret it.

Nah, the idea is more like playing a game with an unusual control scheme, that you KNOW is unusual, but you just aren't able to get your head around it and can't shake the feeling that it's your fault for not learning

Fighting games honestly are shit. They have solid core gameplay and nothing else. Pretty sure damn near all of them have shit tier netplay too. They need to evolve in some way if they're ever going to appeal to anyone outside smelly e-sport tryhards.

How would you even evolve a 2D fighter, if you add sidescrolling it becomes a beat them up, with a 3D world it becomes a hack and slash, open world it's just the same as before but more open, remove the movement limitations and it becomes Smash. I think the genre is doomed to stagnate for the eternity just like turn based games
