Why does it look like nuDoom.

Looks like an asset flip 15 yo russian boy made

Everybody lost hope after 3

I keep hearing about 10000 enemies on screen at once and then I catch glimpse of gameplay and it's like 20, 30 guys max. That's not serious at all.

I can't wait for more serious sam

3 was shit, and even the good serious sams aren't that great.

desu it looks like it's on the exact same level of graphical fidelity as 3, and the marketing is non-existent. What do you expect?

I think its telling that off all the serious sam games I've played i only like the first one. I was digging 3 for a bit but then it did that same shit that makes me tired where the enemies tip over from being a lot to being a lot of work and then my brain wants to die instead of going through the huge chore. Again personal issue but thats why no hype from me

serious sam was never a huge franchise. they were a great surprise at release but was always niche.

you didn't like 2? I remember that one being fun.

I only played First and Second encounter but the Talos Principle was fucking great so I completely trust them on this.

>they've released barely any gameplay

what are they hiding?

>mech shooting
>witchbrides
>delayed

the only sequence they showed with "10000" enemies are obviously from a tech demo or something, with the exact 3 same enemies copied and pasted everywhere

there is no actual gameplay with it, it seems to be just a marketing gimmick

Looks bad

>2020 graphics

Looks boring as fuck

The specs happened, it looks like shit and will apparently run like shit

>2020
>still uses windows XP wallpaper for sky

Cartoony shit of 2 was mistake.
Realistic approach of 3 and 4 is as well.
They should have made something with style of 1 today so they can actually have hundreds of enemies on the screen.

fact

Who cares about mech battle in SS game anyway?
Reminds me of SS2 when they added vehicles and it was pretty lame. Seems just like throwing shit against the wall and seeing what sticks

>Serious Sam 2 was developed with an actual budget given to them by a publisher
Still boggles my mind that game came out like it did.

A disturbing lack of gameplay.

Pressing S and shooting for 20 minutes straight gets old fast.

There is a level with that many enemies but it's a mech level where you are borderline invincible so it's pretty clearly cheating.

>he doesn't press s but also e at the same time
add some variety to your gameplay, mix it up.
Sometimes when I'm getting bored I like to hold s and d

Stale meme. Have a pity (You).

It's SS.
How much footage of holding down S+M1 do you need?

I totally would, just beat the next encounter. But I doubt my toaster laptop could run this if it can't even boot up doom 2016

3 was shit and everything we've seen so far looked exactly like 3.

>hit scanning enemies
yikes

it can't probably even if it could run Doom 2016

>minimum specs are for 720p 30fps
fucking kek

Maybe they cut 16 player co-op because they couldn't get it running above single digit FPS. BFE already chugs evem on modern hardware.

it's ridiculous

That's what I'm suspecting some people are saying it's the mechs but I don't buy it.

i am hype. i just don't like bringing it up every time
