The most frustrating map of our era

The most coolest map in our era with the best overworld theme in a videogame

Any semblance of difficulty to vanish once you reach Tokyo.
Also, ........hoy.

A couple hours of suffering and then a cakewalk

There should be a Walter variant of Jack Frost called Hee-Hoy.

Smirking and one way doors

The best fucking OST in history

But as far as SMT games go this one is very tame, both in difficulty and overall human suffering depicted throughout the story. Also the world map is atrocious to navigate.

this

Persona 4 OST was better

Is 4 okay as my first mainline game?
t. persona baby

I thought the map was pretty cool, even if it's kind of a bitch.

tfw actually looked up places on google maps to get some relative directions for sidequests.
Also, both the smt IVs got some great world map themes.

A really shitty game

If it's your first time I unironically suggest possibly turning the difficulty down until you get to Tokyo. The game might be too easy afterwards even on normal, but it is unforgivingly hard in Naraku.

Awful game and constant "when does it start?" until you realize that yeah... that's the whole game.

Pure kino

Great music

Yeah sure. Don't get filtered by Minotaur.

Fuck his design is so good

The most poorly designed difficulty curve in any rpg ever made. Ridiculously hard at the start and a total joke at the end.

for me? its camp ichigaya

not sure what you're on about when smt iv has some of darkest and most unsettling moments in the entire series. the reverse hills and almost everything about the alternate tokyos had me shook to my core

Not sure which route to go since I don't know if I'll have the energy for as second playthrough, neutral seems best but I'm not sure, I kinda would rather just keep it organic

a fun game with an excellent premise
pulling your hair out when you didn't get the alignment you wanted after the lock

Main line > persona shit

>wanted neutral
>got neutral
>realize I'm now locked out of story progression until I do a bunch of obtuse sidequests, some of which literally just aren't appearing for me
Never picked it up again after than

Huh?

I tried to play this after strange journey and I hated it

highschool protags, constant enemy encounters, 2 hours in and absolutely no story other than the main characters blankly staring at the scenery

I wanted the neutral alignment because apparently that's the canon one
I actually got it, but the neutral route involves doing a bunch of shitty sidequests from then on. Not only are they really tedious, one of the required sidequests literally just won't show up for me so I don't know what to do anymore and I don't feel like playing it anymore either.

a very good game
unless your a retard who can't ask the NPC where things are like this guy

That sounds hella fucking retarded

It's a shit game. What do you expect
