Stupid that paradox made animations only activate at 18. Children (except very young ones) look much better like this, instead of that idle animation that plays 100% of the time. Too bad enabling it also enables underage nudity.
common/defines/00_defines.txt >PORTRAIT_MALE_ADULT_AGE = 18 >PORTRAIT_FEMALE_ADULT_AGE = 18 Change the ages to whatever suits you, (I did 11). In case you have coomer doctrines or Adamites running around, I'd suggest disabling nudity so you don't get topless 12 year olds thrown in your face. It can be done relatively easily through save-file editing in case you want to continue whatever game you're playing.
On another note, if you get a crusader king made you get to switch to them which is cool, shame the AI you leave behind tends to be an absolute tard.
Tyler Rivera
What game?
Leo Phillips
Fortnite, retard
Dylan Torres
So this just changes the portraits? Or makes the animations work?
David Gray
>Too bad enabling it also enables underage nudity Wat Sorry I don't play your kingdom simulator, children grow over the course of the game? Do they have the same model as adults? How the fuck does the children have nude models?
Jason Parker
breaking news, adult bodies are children bodies but bigger
David Allen
Games only white supremacist incels play. Surprise it's also a pedo game.
the op image is proof since kids don't do those animations
Brayden Ramirez
Why the FUCK would it be necessary to keep a separate variable for male and female adult ages? Why isn't the 18 years old flag hardcoded into the game?
Luke Gonzalez
Obviously he meant something else than just the pose.
Brandon Richardson
>why is it necessary Male and female characters have different animation sets and many scenarios in the game treat the sexes differently.
>why isn't 18 hardcoded Because it might change based on context. Many historically significant societies considered 14 and even younger to be viable marriage candidates and sexual partners. In some places in the world today, 16 is considered adulthood. In US territories, anywhere from 16-18 is legal age for parental responsibility, but 21 is the legal age for poisoning oneself. Scientifically, 25 is the "age of reason".
18 is the highest adulthood age in the world, so that's what shipped out for the sake of risk mitigation.
Now please die, concernwhore.
Jonathan Long
No, he's kind of right with the hardcoding. Regardless of historical context or how we get our jollies, we're living in an age where we're not allowed to question these things. You'd naturally assume a textfile edit wouldn't allow you to reduce the adult age. It's best if this isn't brought to public attention.
Brandon Phillips
That's how it shipped. If some user changes it, that's the user's problem.
Why hasn't Bethesda been held responsible for all the kiddy diddlers modding their games?
Dominic Gonzalez
Because modding is slightly different than changing a 0 to a 1 in a text file. Games have literally been banned from steam for the former. and stop acting as if anybody cares about the user, it's all about public image.
Colton Thomas
>don't look at us, players did it Didn't help Rockstar when Hot Coffee restored cut content, did it
Lucky for everyone no other game has the notiority among concerned normies that Grand Theft Auto had
Hudson Gomez
>for the former For the latter. Some VNs hiding content within the files rather than hosting it as a seperate patch. If OP isn't bullshitting, you could argue it's in the same realm.
Logan Scott
>Another heir got the "Pick Impatient, Shy or Gluttonous" event
impatient is obviously the far lesser evil in comparison to other two 15% hostile scheme power and 20% monthly prestige for -2 learning? I'll take it
Michael Jones
>Heir gets compassionate and honest >His trait becomes intricate webweaver
Owen Cox
>Because modding is slightly different than changing a 0 to a 1 in a text file. Not at all. A user editing the contents of the game is the same as a user editing the contents of the game. It goes without saying. Adding more content, yes, that is different. But just altering what's there is not.
There are mods for Skyrim that allow users to kill children via the tools provided by Bethesda with only so much as a flipped bit, and yet the controversy fizzled to nothing.
David Ross
Nigga...
Xavier Morales
Since when has killing children been on par with nudes in video games?
Nolan Peterson
Not them, and you're right, but it's hilariously sad to me that people are more triggered by nudity than murder.
>download and complete tutorial >still no idea what is going on >play for an hour or two before uninstalling >watch funny video >reinstall and try again >uninstall an hour later
