Event SR suits are the ones that give 4PP/5PP skills.
The SR suits from the gacha give 8PP skills, that you can upgrade up to +15%. The 8PP skills you get by leveling up go up to +14%, so if you'd rather have the girl coins for hairs/stopwatches, it's not much of a loss to sell the SR from the gacha right away, especially for the girls that aren't in the Venus Gacha.

Normally, a full set of skills will be three SSR skills, either 12PP/13PP and then one smaller 4PP/5PP skill next to them when you have an SSR accessory, since those have a 17PP/18PP capacity.
The only time I can see the 8PP skills being used in a finished build is if you wanted to do a build with Platinum Attacker which is a 10PP skill, and an 8PP skill will fit neatly next to it in an 18PP accessory.

The drop rate definitely felt really low this week. You could always just buy the two SR crystals if you can't get them before the event ends.

Its pretty simple to install a vpn, like tunnelbear, and go to the steamdb direct link to add the game to your library.

Any trouble I see usually comes from whether or not someone made a new steam account or is using an existing account. I personally made a new one just for VV and it worked flawlessly, but either method should work.
It's just that whenever I see problems posted in these threads people didnt make a new one. If that's the actual reason why or not is unclear. Maybe they just messed something else up.
