You see people say "its too fast" and assume the actual speed is the issue and a person could just click slower to solve the problem. Its actually just the short way of players to say that they find the spammy gameplay of using1-2 abilities to delete easily killable enemies boring and they would like somthing more methodical involving strategy.
The game is designed from the ground up to be played like that. Telling a person to severely gimp their character to make the fights more interesting is such a cop out when the devs have designed the game to be played a certain way.

Desync and Reflect were the heroes POE needed. Because they kept speed in check. Once they were gone the game died.

Chris Wilson stopped making a game, and started making a company instead. It really shows. This is also caused by lots of his hardcore/unforgiving ideas and wants for the game not aligning with the Casual Reddit audience. Because Chris understands what makes a game good at its core, and Reddit does not(hence wanting item editor to stay in the game).

They bent to Reddit and catered to them. So now that there's a large Toxic entitled majority there(over the wrong issues) they're fucked. Now you've got a Community Manager who's got a phd in RedditMeemz who collects backpats and vanishes when there's criticism.

Also trying to merge POE1 and 2 is a mistake. And they need to just do a hard split.
