Pretty much this; used to go through a case of Coke a week until six years ago when I just stopped including it in my regular groceries, suddenly I lost the taste for it, don't even order it when I'm at a restaurant or bar either

Not buying it is your best choice, coke got caffeine in it and it will give you a headache after a day or two of not drinking it plus makes you more tired because it's also a stimulant. Your body adjusted its processes to accommodate the excess chemicals caused by the stimulant, by both producing less of a chemical that deals with blood vessel constriction/dilation and by increasing the amount of receptors of a certain chemical in your brain, making you need more of it to get the same kick as before. When you stop drinking coke you get headaches from the blood vessels and you get tired because all those extra receptors aren't being used, but everything returns back to normal after a day or two of this, the body starts producing its own chemicals again and the extra receptors just disappear
Thinking of giving up coke at some point within the next few months because I worry about my health, but I don't feel like it simply because I've no other way to pass the time, it's really convenient to get a nice cold taste in your mouth whenever you want during the day

I did the same thing about 10 years ago. Drank at least 2 cans of pepsi a day. Dropped it cold turkey and now I rarely drink soda ever.
