it's okay. The game doesn't have any content that requires you to make use of shit like mixing elements, or swapping between characters more than once or twice per fight. 5* weapons/chars have such high stats you just wall everything ingame right now, and the shit you can't wall isn't difficult through mechanics, it just has more HP than you can deal damage without buying more rolls.
It's fun to dick around the open world, I think this makes a good phone game. I'd probably play it for like an hour a day if it wasn't such a battery sucker.

chinese is in open beta, client is in english though so westerners don't get fucked out of the rewards you get for the OB.

pretty much, you don't even have those quests, (well, technically you do but they don't give anything of worth, just buff items which you'll also get more than you could ever use through login rewards and giveaways), the meat of the game, and all progression outside of spending money is done by doing dungeons/abyss which is limited via energy. You can do the actual boss fights an unlimited amount of time, which is sorta cool for practicing, but collecting the rewards is what removes energy.

There's a main story , and then progression to get stronger gear through beating bosses. Same 'loop' as literally every mobile game ever. grind to grind, to grind more.
and then spend money to make it all pointless.
Eventually they'll probably have leaderboards for events/special dungeons so whales can show off.

I think it's so people won't complain "but the gameplay is limited wahhh", so now you can grind on the bosses and learn how to shit on them for nothing, but if you want to actually collect rewards from those fights you have to use your limited energy.

at the start no, they'll just circlestrafe, some people are on capped teams now and enemies seem to jump in and dogpile. Probably because you get better ingredients from higher level enemies.
