I have a PS4 and the Japanese support has been great. Capcom, Atlus, FROM SOFTWARE, all of them put their games on PS4.

If Bloodborne gets a 60 FPS port done by Japan Studio with improved lighting/textures/draw distance then I'm pretty sure I'll be done with gaming. I'll just play this game forever. Hell, I'll even buy it again at full price.

How do these free upgrades work? Do i get a copy of the game just by popping the ps4 disc in or does it only work for digital copies? Not buying a PS5 until they sort their shit out with the slim model, but i still wanna know.

If the remaster is real it’s basically guaranteed to come out on PC. It might be a timed exclusive but as long as the remaster is real, it’s just a waiting game. Literally the only reason anyone is talking about a remaster is because leakers talked about one coming to PC and PS5. Either no one gets a remaster or both PC and PS5 get it.

I could afford to buy a PS5 and whatever games comes onto it, but I much prefer the ease and comfortable side of PC gaming.

No, it won't increase FPS. Some dude modded it to run at 60 FPS on a PS4 Pro and he found that the framerate is tied to the physics, so he had to go in and change the engine code to get it to run properly. There's a Digital Foundry video about it.
