Explain to me what possible benefit Nintendo would gain by keeping Galaxy 2's inclusion a secret.
Explain to me what possible benefit Nintendo would gain by keeping Galaxy 2's inclusion a secret
>secret
it literally just isn't in due to the switch's cart size restrictions, maybe it'll be paid DLC but even that's doubtful.
Launch game for the mid gen upgrade of the Switch.
Nobody cares about shit ass Galaxy. 90% of consoomers are only buying this for Sunshine and 64.
Pirates are already playing this
the switch can have up to 32 gbs if not 64 user\
nintendo just didn't want to spend anymore on the cart or considered it too new to be in a collection
Mario 64 has been a basic ass virtual console game but the nintendo consoom maeketing suddenly makes special
2 is just a alt take of 1
its just snoys complaining about the roms
it doesnt make any diffrence to switch owners, we still get to play these games on our switch
snoys are just buttblasted that literal roms sold more than their entire 2020 lineup on preorders alone
The game is below 5 fucking gigs.
Gotta save something for Mario's 45th anniversary.
This. 2 is basically an expac of 1 that was sold for full price
it's on a 8gb cart.
that would've been more than enough for galaxy 2 and another couple bonus games, too.
Super Mario 64 is 8 MiB
Super Mario Sunshine is 1.46 GB
Super Mario Galaxy 1+2 are each 4.7 GB
That totals 10.87 GB, and that's not including the upscaled textures and space needed for the emulation software
its hard to put the .iso in there y know
gotta keep the data under 5gb for cheaper cards
>Super Mario Galaxy 1+2 are each 4.7 GB
This can't be the case considering the collection itself is 4.7GB.
Yoshi wouldn't work on Switch.
Why not put them on a 16GB card then? Those cost next to nothing
Galaxy 1 and 2 combined are only 4.6
it's emulated but with fuckery on the actual file itself, it'd be much more than 8GB. They're either saving it for DLC or just couldn't be assed and the team was told to put it out in rush on the smaller cart
1.46 GB and 4.7 GB are just the maximum sizes of the GameCube and Wii discs
The games probably don't use the entire disc, or else couldn't work
My Sunshine + Galaxy + Galaxy 2 ISOs only add up to 5.9 GB compressed
nothing. the user who started that rumor must've been incredibly retarded even by Zig Forums standards
Sunshine Controls
Galaxy Controls
>Nintendo puts out collection of the 3D Mario games without Galaxy 2 for $60
>Later releases all of them individually on the eshop, along with Galaxy 2
>People who got the collection buy Galaxy 2, so they have all the games
>Nintendo essentially ends up selling the entire collection for $90 (presuming Galaxy 2 is $30)
Can you play Galaxy with the pro controller? How does that work?
>Can you play Galaxy with the pro controller?
yes
>How does that work?
it doesn't
So you just can't pick up star bits with the pointer or what?
>Stop and Squirt
>two separate buttons for squirt
God this is going to be annoying.
