yeah ngl I'd put my willy in her

She deserves her own game now, but that's not going to happen as long as Capcom thinks only funny blue pointy man sells

to be honest i like funny blue pointy man
hes very funny

Do people not like her? She's not my favorite or anything but I think she's fine.

Were they right? Did Apollo and Edgeworth's games flop so hard the former immediately got reverted back to status quo and the latter's sequel never made it overseas officially?

Isn't AA4 the best selling game in the series?

Edgeworth flopped but was for bad publicity, not the game itself, AA4 was a success but overall people didn't like Apollo, they wanted Phoenix back

Her design is sex

Couldn't they have kept the jurist system at least?

The real problem is that Capcom Japan thinks the series isn't pulling its weight anymore thanks to both DGS games selling like dirt despite the money put in being the same (or possibly more, mo-cap isn't cheap) as the mainline titles. GS5 sold a ton, and GS6 rebounded well after DGS1 faceplanted, but the combination of the two has the series apparently on ice and the guy who was the lead for 5, 6 and the Investigations titles just left Capcom outright.

Yeah, but they forced Phoenix in that too plus it was the first new AA game in a very long time

I REALLY like her

We don't know if anything there is a causal relation, Yamazaki worked on the series forever, he might just want to move on to something else. It does kind of imply there's no project (or at least not involving him).

Is Maya even still part of the series? I thought Athena was her replacement.

Maya's fairly prominently in AA6, Athena is more of a protagonist than an assistant.

Yeah, she returned officially in AA6, and sadly they did a bad job at it

Me too. Shame the franchise died before she got her own game.

I just played the original AA trilogy for the first time in like a week. I started apollo justice and it didn't feel like it was clicking. is it worth sticking to it, or is there a better place to jump back into the series? really disappointing that they quickly abandoned spritework

>or is there a better place to jump back into the series?
Why would you skip entries in a story-based game?

she just came back in AA6 for nostalgia wanking, actually most of AA6 was just nostalgia wanking.

because some entries aren't feeling fun

That's not really fair - she's not in it much, but that's mostly because she isn't in it much as herself. She's still really important.

>muh sprites
They do such a good job with the 3d graphics that it doesn't matter in the slightest

There's sprites in six games out of ten, they didn't abandon it quickly - you just didn't play the AAI games.

AA5 is fine, it has a lot of moments even
AA6 is considered great by most people, but it also uses Apolo Justice plotpoints and characters a lot, so yeah, also the last case is really kino

My issue is the little she appeared she was too much of her old self, it was like seeing a child in an adults body

>a Tumblrite can write a better ending to Dual Destinies than Yamazaki could

That really wasn't the case, save for the fanservice DLC case

I kind of get that, but it's really hard to tell with how little we see of her. There's a thing of having "outgrown the stepladder discussion", and she can actually channel really well now. The character where the childishness seems VERY off is Pearl, not Maya.
