Who the fuck buys a digital only console

/thread

People who buy digital and game pass?

you're making a big assumption here

A PC.

>tfw bought a 2070super and i7-9700k

Has anyone ever bought anything gaming related wise and not felt buyers remorse?

None. No interest in a games pass machine when I have PC and plan up upgrading next year.

The one that can actually run games well.

XSX for me

90's babies.

I'm buying a SeX with a year worth of game pass.

Series X

Don't care still buying a PS5.

Series S because it's small, cheap, backwards compatible, I only own 1080p tvs and 1 2k monitor, and I own 0 disc games for it since I've been a Sony fan since the ps1.

definitely getting a big one on the 34.99 plan

>Backwards compatible
>Doesn't have a CD drive

It's just as well you own 0 disc games really.

Series X.

>I only own 1080p tvs
shame games later on wont run at that resolution and most xbox one titles are sub 1080p lol

You can buy xbox, xbox 360, and xbox one games on the microsoft store. They'll run on next gen.

Only buying one if it has early access to PSO2 NGS

>You can buy xbox, xbox 360, and xbox one
How big the library for each gen? And does having the physical disc guarantee compatibility.

Series X. I unironically love the Xbox One X and the Series X looks to be a straight upgrade.

I checked the microsoft store on the web browser to see if the games I've never played before were on there and they were.
List of a couple that I'm planning on getting

I know this is on the gamepass.

(ive beaten them years ago but have been craving these 2 games recently)

OG Xbox has a paltry 50 or so titles available. 360 is a lot more substantial at 600+ titles, has most of the games you'd hope for (Lost Odyssey, all Gears, all Halo's) but is missing some of the more obscure exclusives.

Ok but that's on the digital store, but assuming I have physical discs that are not on there, presumably they would run on the Series X?

the SeS for casual gaming.
can't justify the SeX if I'll be only using it few times a month since I don't much time to game these days.
the bullshit ps4p """"4K"""" upscaling should be enough for my 27" monitor.
also, the size makes it a bit cute.

Who the fuck builds pc's without optical drives?

I did

It has to be on the compatibility list to work. But being on the compatibility list doesn't necessarily mean they have the license to sell the game.

Driver San Francisco cannot be bought digitally but if you have the disc it will download the game and let you play it.

It's the BBC for me. (Big Black Console)

So is it a boombox or something?
