Does using walkthroughs count as cheating?
Does using walkthroughs count as cheating?
Not if the solution is pointlessly arbitrary to begin with
Yes. I use walkthroughs with cheats enabled and I do not care.
Cute asian girls are cute!
Do teachers count it as cheating if you watch YouTube videos on subject matter? Do sports count it as cheating if you have a coach teach you how to win?
I bet she gives good sucky sucky. She love it long time. I got a massive wang dong that needs sucky sucky.
>ywn take your nip gf shooting for the first time and see her giggle with joy with each pull of the trigger
it hurts bros
Single player games are meant to be fun, play them however the fuck you want
Shit analogy.
Walkthroughs tell you exactly what to do. It would be like if I told you the exact questions that are coming up in the final year exams and what the answers are.
Yes, it's cheating.
it counts as cheating if youre looking at someone's answers, i.e. guide
I couldn't find the portal surface on the roof that lead to GlaDos' room in Portal 2 and I had to use a walkthrough. I feel like that was when I realised I'd always be a disappointment.
old point and click adventure games basically require one, because there's always that retardedly obtuse puzzle
Only if you use that shit the whole game then yea its cheating. Most games nowadays are on easy mode, so I don't even know why you need a walkthrough.
I am a bit retarded so no
I agree. Play them however you want, but keep in mind that if you use any cheats/guides/walkthroughs during your first playthrough, you are a low test bitch boy, that deserves the rope
Depends, but mostly yes.
But it's your game, so who cares if you want to be spoiled.
Those are guides.
A walkthrough would be more akin to calling your teacher in the middle of the exam to tell you the exact answers.
>get stuck
>can't think of solution
>not having fun with the game
>find a guide on what to do
>keep playing and have fun again
sure it's not earned, but at the end of the day you're playing the game for fun no?
Zoomer detected. People literally used to buy strategy guides for video games.
Using a walkthrough isn't that serious, bro.
Not him but how is that any different than utilizing saves? 99% of people could ace an exam if they were given a save point to use over and over again.
Shit even having multiple lives without the use of saves has a similar effect user.
>cheating?
no, it's just the least fun way to run your experience
no because i said so
nah.
but then again, I dont give a fuck and use cheat engine all the time to jump over grinding.
NOOOOO
That's why that user had a shit analogy.
Also, the point you're trying to make about saves doesn't really apply unless it's about a garbage game.
The goal of a save is usually to let the user rest after a long session and to resume later - like a novel - or to present a new challenge you'll likely fail at because it's the first time being introduced - like a new game changing mechanic or something.
Using guides for just a standard playing-through of a game is lame (like ruining puzzles for yourself). Using a guide if you're trying to get all collectibles/trophies/achievements/100% is acceptable.
There are plenty of games where almost nobody is going to get all collectibles without looking that shit up. It would take fucking forever and take 0 skill anyway.
>you're cheating in every single game you play after your first one because you now have experience playing video games which is an unfair advantage
Depends on the game I guess. If you bing a solution for a puzzle game then yeah it's cheating, but if you askjeeves the, idk, best non-cheese way to beat Isshin, the execution is still up to you, so I wouldn't count that as cheating
Ultimately video games are meant to be played for fun and, if you have fun even after yandexing a walkthrough for it then good on you;
No. Sometimes i just look up all the side quests for a game so i can complete it in its entirety once and never touch it again, ie dos2.
Depends on the circumstance.
depends on how you use them. if you've already beaten a game and you want to know about hidden stuff or things you missed it's not really helping you overcome the game.
The smell of an unwashed asian vagina
Lol who cares?
