Why is this game more difficult than any souls game?
God of War
it's not. You just literally suck at wannabe videogames.
Try beating the valkyries on the hardest difficulty and report back
I beat Bloodborne the other day and I died more times to this random faggot than I did to Gehrman
>artificial difficulty to prove that you beat a third person over the shoulder cinematic movie walking simulator
you must truly be bored with life to waste time on such garbage
I've never beaten any souls game and I did just fine in this one.
I had no muscle memory and this section took me like 30 minutes before shit clicked again.
PC faggot, please go and stay go
That's because that random faggot is a load of bullshit on GMGOW and made me start over on GMAC. I imagine it's easier if you do GMGOW NG+, but the game didn't hook me enough to do another playthrough.
fucking Sonygroids having a mental meltdown when their worldview gets challanged

I'm not interested in your childish platform wars, just go.
Zeus build and highest difficulty is the only way to play
Because most enemies don’t stagger in this game since there’s no stamina unlike souls, the devs decided to make the dumbass decision to not make attacks cancellable by the player while enemies can armor through your attacks so it feels like shit to play
Wym more difficult than any souls game? I completed this game on normal difficulty with no issues. Are you playing on hard or something?
This was the zone where i switched difficulty to normal, shit was impossible on hard
The only difficulty in this game rises from the designers being retards who don’t understand game design, video game cameras, rpg mechanics or basic action game mechanics.
They are too stupid to let you have a clear view, they are too stupid to make combat rules consistent, they are so retarded they tie action game mechanics to rpg mechanics and have the RPG mechanics randomize shit in the middle of a fight.
So it is more difficult than a lot of games, but not in a way that is good, interesting, well designed or worth mentioning beyond “how not to make a game, holy fuck what are you doing?”.
souls games aren't hard that's why.
How did this game compare to the original 3 on max difficulty?
Because you can't play yet and the beginning of this game is unbalanced, gets way easier a few moments later when you'll get all magical cooldowns and boy's electric arrows. Only bosses and some specific areas were somehow difficult.
This is literally not true and you never played this game. Most animations can be canceled into a dodge or a parry.

Real poser hours.
What's the best difficulty to play on?
Easy if you just want to experience the story without much of a challenge. Normal if you want to have fun. Hard if you want to rage.
I didn’t play the game I’m making suggestions about: the post
not OP and havent played new gow. new gow doesn't seem harder honestly, it's just the hardest difficulty seems like tedious trash since enemies don't get hitstun and are tanky.
between the OG trilogy, ascension and the 2 PSP games, ascension is probably the hardest game. but honestly the hardest thing about the old games weren't the main games on hardest difficulty. it were those trial things.
Beat a souls game on 7th NG+, to be fair.
>game opens up, allowing exploration
>go to an island
>everything has a 9 above it's head
>can wack on them for 4 minutes without killing them because my gear is only level 4
>get hit
>die
amazing game design, no wonder people can't remember barlog's name
Souls games don't really become harder with each NG+ unless you gimp yourself and stop leveling.
That wasn't too hard. It's literally just knowing how to dodge all her attacks, which is pretty much every soul's boss.
The first few encounters at the start of the game on the hardest difficulty was more bullshit than anything else.
>makes excuse
So did you pull it off?
I only played the trilogy but they all had those bullshit moments that got you as mad as Kratos himself on hardest difficulty. Just the thought of those Kratos clones is enough to get me mad to this day.
Only in DS3, with a SL120 character(so gimping myself). In DS1 I tried it but got bored after beating O&S.
The difference between NG+1 and NG+7 is about 40% more health and damage, it's nothing drastic.
Nice good to see people sticking to thier guns. DS2 probably did NG+ the best rather than just a modifier.
Pretty sure you can only cancel attacks and light attacks at that on hit you can’t wiff cancel like in a regular action game
