60% off on Steam right now, how is it? I haven't seen people talk much about it here

Because it's an old game. Get it if you like fps games

I thought it was really good, but way too short
The concept of a long train journey where you have to discover still-working infrastructure and military facilities was excellent

great value fallout

It's 100% off on piratebay you dumb DRM paypig.

Not as good as the others imo, still fun and not the worst buy.

denuvo was removed and it is even on gog now

pretty sure it was mostly an RTX tech demo. to be fair, Metro 1 was also largely a demo to show off how cool the shadows/lighting was.
but like it was a bootleg Fallout game rather than a Metro game
>oh look vlad everything is okay 5 miles outside of Moscow! sunshine and rolling hills and no nuclear winter mutant horde!
nice "metro"

It's way worse than the previous installments, and it's heavily hindered by MUH OPEN WORLD.

Cinematic shooter garbage.

>NOOOOOOOO YOU CAN NOT BUY GAMES YOU HAVE TO STEAL AAAAAAAAAAA LOOK AT ME I PIRATE

Of course you have to pirate and remove your price signal from the market and let only normies determine what is worth making and not.

As a huge fan of 2033 and Last Light, I dropped the game 4 hours in
The open level I played simply wasn't fun, the content is spread out so vastly that most of the time, you're just running, pressing E on resource pickups, or clearing out generic, easy bandit camps/monster dens
Systems feel like they were designed for a linear game and then pasted onto an open world game, movement especially, you get stuck on pieces of geometry, Artyom gets winded after running for too long (and there's a lot of running)
Playing optimally means using the pneumatic gun most of the time because its ammo is so cheap to craft, and quickloading if you take dumb damage because medkits are so expensive to craft
The linear section at the start was about as good as the other Metro games but I heard most of the game is the open world shit

Pretty much this
my only regret is that I wasn’t paying attention at some point and I totally missed the fact that you could avoid killing ennemies, I wasn’t expecting the wrong ending

It's fine. Loses most of the atmosphere from the first two games, especially when it goes Mad Max for one level. Ignore people who call it an "open world," because they're fucking idiots that don't know what words mean.

crap, watched lets plays and it's easy as fuck and the story is balls.

>watched lets plays

>you save a little girl
>you ride a train with her all game even do some quest for her
>can't marry her and have to deal with old hag instead
That's probably why.
Also sfm fucking when.

Good. Needed more of the open world areas, but the variety is nice. I felt like the end was a slog.

>a former egs exclusive
It's trash that is not even worth pirating.

I bought it day one, seethe steam tranny.

for 60% i'd definitely pick it up, atmosphere isn't as good as the first two for obvious reasons (the caspian desert is easily my least favorite). it's still pretty fun though.

Very good, like said. The train being your hub through the adventure was super comfy and I just liked the overall atmosphere.

If you have an RTX card the global illumination tracing looks fantastic too, it's a good demo of what your hardware can do.

This

because tim already paid in my stead

horrible controls with a shit mortal system, so bad you won't even notice that you fucked up sometimes.

nice cope to being a poorfag
I'm surprised you can even run this thing

It was purchasable on Steam way before epic.

It's amazing. Ignore the the storeautists.

it's a 6.5/10
mediocre story
nice setting
mediocre characters
ok gameplay

people pirate because its free fucking video games

no one cares you brain damaged retard

You'll find the best parts at the start and the last parts of the game

>stealing shit makes it free
no shit jamal

yeah, that was my point, the guy i replied to implied that people pirate to avoid denuvo and drm

and the first post implied that you would pay for shit drm, which was already removed
