1.) Not sure. I'm a dev and haven't actually checked in on the percentage revshare we get from upcoming releases on the new consoles.

2.) kinda similar answer, but we get a sizeable chunk of revshare change at my studio that keeps quality-of-life for devs decent, and prevent over-scoping, planning and scheduling issues that lead to crunch (and therefore lower quality games). microtransactions help with this a LOT. we try not to do extortionate bullshit that just milks our games and our players without any quality updates/content, but modern AAA development is incredibly expensive (teams upwards of 200+ people across several years), so desu it's probably a bit murky...that's kinda out of my wheelhouse tho, as i'm not a money guy. i just get paid decently to make cool shit.

hope that at least cleared a little bit up, sorry i couldn't expound more.
