Eh, I liked it but I like card based things and the concept of what the cards are so you might not care.
Haven't watched the original Japanese version though so I don't know how much difference that makes. Really need to do that at some point. I think it's the only anime that I haven't done that for since I started learning Japanese in 2001.

I recently watched the whole thing + Clear Card because I remember liking it as a kid. I'd say it's mostly a good show. It's formulaic as fuck for a large portion, (first half of an episode is always Sakura having fun w/ friends and the second half is always a card showing up to cause trouble.) That said, once they introduce the female teacher, shit starts picking up and the show's animation starts going bonkers in the best way possible.
