I said fuck it and bought RE3 50% off. I have it set to offline, so if codex or anyone else happens to crack it within the next two weeks I'll just refund it with 0 playtime. Honestly better than it had been made out to be, though that might be because the first thing I did was applied a wider fov mod so to me the game is probably quite different.

Only problem is I've played RE2R to death so RE3 kinda just feels like 2 in a different setting which makes me a little apathetic about it. Bottom line though is it's worth the sale price if you like RE games.

I kind of disagree, there's plenty of rewards for completing challenges and by skipping cutscenes its only 2 hours tops. Plus there's fun to be had playing on higher difficulties, its just annoying that there's no Mercs mode and Resistance is fucking dead.
