In Greek Mythology, Artemis was pretty much the Godesses of Hunting and Voluntary Virgins and she was one of the few Olympians not involved in romance nor sex, with the possible exception of Orion, who got killed in some versions because Apollo was jealous.

Most versions instead claim that they were just BFFs until Orion wanted to rape some of her followers/bragged he could hunt everything, so Artemis or Gaia killed him with an arrow/scorpion.

Game is much better on control than MKB so I'm assuming it's fine. Not a fan of the sticks on Switch though.

What's the deal with 'aid' boons and that god bar? They're rare and not really explained at all in game and I have no idea what to do with them once I got one, or how to fill that bar.

meter has five segments
hit shit to build meter
expending one segment gives you some small benefit, for example athena's makes you invincible for a couple seonds
charging up all five segments before using it supercharges it in some way

most encounters won't let you build more than 1-2 segments and you lose them after the encounter, but boss fights you can charge at least one full meter every time

Who is the best god and why is it Dionysus?

Cute. Glad they made her Legendary Boon easier to get. It showed up a few times even when I wasn't aiming for it.
