I've played through BL2 on every character except Salvador because he never clicked for me. That meant replaying every zone, quest, whatever 5 times each. I obviously didn't do it back to back, but I did it and never felt any wear and tear.
BL3 is just shit, man. I can't quite put my finger on it, but I cannot replay it like I did BL2. I don't know if it is because of the writing is so bad it made BL2 look Shakespearean, the builds just flat out aren't fun, there is too much redundant bullshit in quests like waiting for a joke that falls flat for being able to progress, or what. I tried doing a siren run and I got to that rapper quest on Promethea when I threw in the towel. I hate using this term, but I think the game just lacks soul. Also, the builds just are not that fun. Mechromancer and Krieg were total pandemonium and nothing really comes close to that in 3.

I hated my first playthrough as Zane.
I just finished a playthrough with Amara.
They must have blasted the drop rate of legendaries and epics up. I remember only getting 3-4 on Zane play at release.
I got well over 30 on this one. I was pretty much always running with 4 legendary weapons and the electric sniper that summons orbs even at only level 24sh was wrecking well into the end of the game with Amara's elemental tree.
