Series x seems like a very good console. Even if the first party games turn out to be shit, it’s still worth it for multiplats.

I was originally going to buy one but then I managed to snag a 3080. So now I'll just play xbox games on pc and get a ps5 instead. Already pre-ordered the ps5

Honestly i don't know when it happened but how the fuck did sony turn into the new apple? Last gen it was a actual battle of facts of who had the better system but this gen the competition is non existent, people just don't care about the facts and are automatically going with PlayStation despite Xbox having the obvious better console.

I'm honestly considering Series X since I have a shit ton of Xbox, 360, and One physical games. I'll probably wait until Spring next year though, see what the defective rate is, and maybe get a slight discount in a sale. However, I'm also considering jumping to PC, specifically a gaymin laptop. I don't need a beefy PC for 1080p without RT. I'm either considering a good laptop with an RTX 2060 in it, or waiting until mobile RTX 3000 is out.

Game Pass on PC is okay but I think having a living room console is more convenient and easier to use.
And if the PS4 Collection titles don't have better performance than my PS4 Pro gets, I don't see a reason to use that aside from loading times

I'm going to do the financing thing for $35 a month. Comes with 2 years of game pass ultimate and I'll probably pay it all off in 3 or 4 months. Then I'll do the same with the PS5 if there's an option to do so.

I love Naughty Dog games, so my decision is made for me. If you don't care about that then the XSX does look like a better-engineered machine, but I think you'd be crazy to buy either of them until they've been out for a while and any hardware issues have had time to surface.

My father in law has one so I’ll get it to play with him finally. I lean towards the weeaboo consoles but Sony being SJW censorfaggots has made then gen easy since I have a switch already.

Did I hear that Gamestop was doing this, or is it only through Microsoft? I really don't want to be on the computer hitting F5 like a madman to get lucky doing this on the Microsoft website. Bestbuy employee mentioned how PS5 pre-orders went out on their site in less than 5 minutes. Local Gamestop actually has a physical list to call people in to pre-order and I'm on it, but the girl working today was unsurprisingly clueless to answer me for sure if it was going to be offered.

Yeah it's on Microsoft's website. I believe gamestop and best buy as well as microsoft themselves and probably others are offering this. The financing offer isn't some timed exclusive though, it'll be available for the foreseeable future I'm assuming. Best Buy has been doing this with One S/X for a while now.

If I hadn’t built a PC, I would be considering the Xbox Series X.
