The main issues I have is the fact that there's no upgrade path for PC and the fact that Vergil for some reason doesn't seem to have a gauntlet weapon and putting in V isn't going to be enough to replace that missing portion of Vergil's moveset. Especially since the switch to V move that was showed off looked like some AOE damage move and looks like it takes a long time to activate. It makes the value proposition at full price a bit messy even if for next generation consoles exclusively.

This V attack looks wrong, it snaps awkwardly. It's been driving me nuts, it seems triggered and not a result of the sudoku move.
If the move itself were to be stab, V appears and does the AoE they would make animation for it so why does it look like two different animations like this?
Maybe it really is V switching and if that's the case then this clip shows you have full control of him in less than 2 seconds after imputing the sudoku.

It's probably going to be refined some more, there's still two months of dev time anyways. Why would they advertise a new playable character but his new thing is turning into V? When we already got him in the vanilla game?

Imagine if turning into V has to do with how low your health bar is, like in DMC2. I'll find that to be funny.

If we find out that Capcom added new things to Nero or Dante in the special edition and not in Vergil's dlc pack then that's evidence enough they wouldn't leave pcfags without of those extras. V has a new move so why wouldn't they add new shit to nero and dante?

When V appears, for a split second he's got feet on the ground. Why do that if they're going to have him float up everytime he appears?
That would be eternal early-access level of animation lazyness and the devs of DMC5 would not be foolish enough to let that fly, for a PS5 launch title and for DMC5 itself which they have already animated for with great success. I don't think it would make sense to attribute this snap to incompetence in this case.

They could have but V was in a dire need of new shit added to him while the other two were okay so it would make sense to focus development on V and PC's getting it eventually, there's no need to speculate whether or not it'll happen.

They could technically fix shit or add new features beyond what they advertised but what makes you think that current Capcom will do that with how their redemption arc ended in 2020 especially with RE3R? We should've at least finally gotten a Vergil campaign announced for a proper Special Edition and we keep on getting cucked. Maybe I have to wait for a proper DMC3 remake for that to happen.

Which will be what they announced in the initial trailer and that's the damn shame. We may probably get more details on things but this is pretty much worse than the DMC4 and only slightly better than DMC3 as far as DMC special editions go.
