I don't mind, all I really care about from their upcoming games for now is that SMTV does release in 2021. I would avoid gameplay and trailers even if they released them because I want to go in blind. I would be happy to see an update on EO or Project Re Fantasy, but I'm completely unsurprised that it's not happening so I'm not disappointed.

I don't get why the portbegging for P5 on Switch is still a thing. I get why it was a thing to begin with because Joker in Smash brings the expectation for P5 on Switch, but at this point you'd think people would let go.

That's not true exactly.
Persona Q games sold well, it's that the Switch fans are in a weird situation.
They really want a Switch port, depsite there's never being a moment in the past where Persona 2-4 were ever ported to noe-Sony systems.
Because if they were, we would gotten Persona 2 on the N64, Persona 3 on the GameCube, and Persona 4 on the Wii.
So in order to protest they want Persona 5 on switch, they refuse to buy anything non-persona Atlus game releases on there.
It's quite weird.
