I mean you aren't accounting sales on digital stores, only full price.
For example DBFZ costs 60euro now on psn, but it costed only like 15 a week ago for like a month, and it usually goes down to this price with every seasonal sale. If you are willing to wait for those then you can get pretty much the same prices as with physicals

sure it's better that you always have the option to look for cheaper prices, but picking the absolute cheapest disc usually means you have to spend a lot of time picking them up in a big city, or just pay extra for delivery. Overall I wouldn't say one is better than the other
