If you want something weird like Black Souls i'd suggest MY]R. SEQUEL series is also a given, starting with sequel blight. The Depravity of a Lewd Vampire was also quite good.

How is colony? Is the fun class building back and is the amount of characters smaller again? Those are the things that bothered me the most in the second game, there were way too many characters and no variety in their builds.

Only 4 characters, and they all have three skill trees: an offensive one, a defensive one (heals or buffs/debuffs), and the passive skill tree from Awake that every character had. Plenty of room to customize.

a lot of the h-content is locked until you beat the main game, especially in Blight, but my god it was worth it. The worldbuilding in the series is also really good.

I genuinely enjoyed the gameplay in the first game, the battles themselves are generic turn based rpg, but making different builds was fun.

I honestly like the gameplay in the SEQUEL series a lot. It's very fast and customizable, even with regular battles being an autofest the boss battles are good.
