.Probably barely any interiors
Cyberpunk 2077's Night City's map looks not much bigger than GTA3's map
Thank god. I'm so tired of the fucking "OUR OPEN WORLD IS HUUUUUUUUUUGE!!!!" meme.
I had low interest in this game, but this actually makes me more interested. I hope this is the start of a new trend.
gta 3 was the best designed map in the gta series
>Cybershills actually defending this
Wow unironically kys
HAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAAHA
Imagine being so braindead that you STILL in fucking 2020 demand huge open worlds as if they contribute fucking anything to the game.
I'm laughing at you.
If it's highly detailed though size doesn't matter. Look at Deus Ex Mankind dived, Praug was small but the detail made it feel much bigger and more alive.
GTA maps suck. Id rather have a small, but detailed and interactive map like yakuza as opposed to the sterile, boring wastelands that are GTA maps
fpbp
Holy shit imagine buying this SJW tranny flop
Nope, Vice City is the best
its a close second but I feel that map had i little too much wasted space.
The entire Night City seems to be the size of one GTA4 island if that.
Good map but fuck that toll booth island.
So we were right????
>Probably
if this round shape in Pacifica area is similar in size to Aspatria round shape this is how it looks
CDPR always had this idea since the first Witcher. I foùnd the world in witcher 2 to be quite small, but they try filling every corner with some sidequest. Feels more fufilling that way.
It's worth trying.
lolno
as much as I like Vice City, that map was obviously rushed, look at Little Havana for example, full of copypasted houses
How much verticality is there going to be?
A smaller map should make it easier to make all the buildings functional and able to enter. This is just common sense. But in reality it just means more laziness from developers.
You should be comparing road sizes, the scale there looks way off when you do
Is that a map from 2003?
>road sizes
dumbest idea ever
I agree with me
wish this was open world.
If it's full of content and quirks then I don't give a shit about size. Look at MGSV's or Witcher 3's open world, big but fucking nothing.
Try vice city map
GTA 3 felt so huge when I first played it. Playing it on a modern computer with no fog and unlimited draw distance makes it obvious just how small it was.
