i'm autistic and i can't play it other than chronological order
Amazon delayed my shipment so not at all
Started with sunshine. It's good but hard as fuck. Something about it is just off though.. can't quite put my finger on it
it’s that it’s not very good. you can beat it without too much trouble but if you go for 100% you will know mario hell
>started 64
>not fun
>started sunshine
>slightly more fun but not fun overall
>haven't started galaxy
I'm worried bros
my man
Tip: you can change controls and save them as presets in Switch options menu.
I started with Sunshine too, just beat Petey. I wish I could invert the aim controls. Were they like this in the original?
I played these games more than a decade ago
Galaxy is the best one, don't give up.
its that the controls are really unresponsive especially after playing odyssey. it really shows its age
>Were they like this in the original?
No, and it's better now
based
I started with galaxy because thats the one I have the most nostalgia for. I then played a few levesl of 64 and started sunshine since thats the only one I havent played yet. So far its really fun
30fps kills it. If Nintendo wasn't so lazy they'd have upped it to 60fps to match Galaxy. It can be patched on a Wii to play at 60fps, the game was designed for 60fps originally, there was no reason to cap it to 30.

Is there a good way to play Galaxy with a pro controller, or do you need to use joy cons to properly emulate the wiimote and nuncuck?
I'm just having trouble moving around the pointer with the controller alone.
Going in order, started 64. I’m at around 55 stars now and on wet dry world. It’s the only one I’ve played before but I last played in like 1997. Excited to play the other 2 for the first time.
>Game hasn't shipped yet from amazon
AHHHHHH
Watched bi lingual thunder shark girl play galaxy

Her swearing in english is endearing.
In my opinion 64 has the best first half, Sunshine's best levels are the second half and Galaxy is the overall best one.
Haven't tried yet, but friend says it plays fine with pro's gyro.
You can't cancel amazon orders?
You'd have a point if muscle memory wasn't fucking up my aiming
The Gyro works fine, it just feels extremely awkward to me.
I'm in no rush to get the game user I'll wait
Why would anyone pay for this. How much are the same games on Nintendoshop
Just 64 is 10. Other two never got ports.
Mario 64: $10 on Wii U
Sunshine: $200+ on eBay
Galaxy: $20 on Wii U
Thanks to Sunshine's prices, it's a great deal to get 3 games on a modern platform for only $60
Me too, it was cool remembering all those 64 secrets by replaying it
I’m playing them in release order, obviously.
Still on 64 right now. I’m really struggling to get through it without using too many half A presses.
Do I need to update my switch in order to play the physical version? I haven't updated in over a year.
>Do I need to update my switch in order to play the physical version?
Yes. Games tend to only support the software version available at release and newer.
My order just came in. Just going to play 64, maybe 70 star and then see from there. I played Sunshine about a year ago so it's fresh in my mind, so may just go to Galaxy. Only playing 64 because it's legendary, I learned the 16 and 70 star route years ago so I know this game fairly well.
Question for the guys playing Sunshine.
How does the game handle the variable pressure of FLUDD? With a GC controller you could adjust it obviously, but Joycon should pads cannot.
I did all the first stars for each for comparison
64 literally just throws you into the thick of it after only a few boxes of text, while Sunshine tries to set up a big mystery and explain the lore of the new land through (extensive) cutscenes.
Galaxy seems more like a compromise of the 2, giving a flashy starting cutscene, but then mostly just letting you get right to it afterwards
>$200
Maybe the unopened copies, used are like 50 to 70.
Shit I'm afraid to update if I feel like hacking my switch later. Think I'll wait
Started with Sunshine, because it's the only one I haven't played much of. I've already beaten Galaxy and 64 in the past, but I want to save Galaxy for last, and I know I might catch shit for it, but I just don't think that 64 has aged that well, and my greatest pleasure derive from it at this point is that Frame Perfection rage compilation.
They just use both right shoulder buttons instead on one
R for stand still spray
ZR for run and spray
Were there Jak and Daxter Remastered Collection threads too? I don't remember.
