How come no one ever talks about this game? I just finished it and I thought it was pretty solid

it was really talked about...almost a decade ago

because it's awful

What's your point? Halo came out before that and people still won't shut the fuck up about those games

How was it awful? Are you gay?

zoomzoom

bossfights were shite

everything else was decent

Kys yourself

That's true, the boss fights were pretty crappy but besides that I thought it was solid

It fell out of the public's eye, but Halo is still getting its games re-released on PC and it started about a year or two ago
HR was amazing, but MD was a disaster and they haven't really announced any Dude Sex thing since
>microtransactions
>shitty performance
>fleshed out Breach thinking people will actually play it
Blame Square Enix for this shit

Fair enough, I haven't played the last one yet. I do kinda want to play the first one but it seems really outdated to me.

HRtards are always zoomers.

You seem pretty obsessed with zoomers. Do I need to contact the FBI?

Yes, contact them to send any zoomer on Zig Forums to gitmo

I remember back when the whole of Chicago leaked on Zig Forums and the opinion turned 180. Fun times.
I'm playing through it again now, just done Malik's sidequest in Hengsha

this is the board for people who don't like video games

How you liking it so far? Are you going for non-lethal playthrough? I'm thinking about playing again and going for that

Why are you gae?

You are trying way to hard to fit in. The only dude sex game hated here is mankind divided

i keep wanting to replay it but the non scaling hud makes the minimap and shit impossible to see well in higher resolutions

it was quite popular when it released literally a decade ago

MD > HR personally simply because the world is much more engaging, if less futuristic (no shit its prague).

>bossfights were shite
As opposed to the great boss fights of Deus Ex and Invisible War? I've never understood this complaint about Human Revolution. The boss fights are okay. They're not terrible at all. Whining about how there's no indirect ways to fight is stupid because the Deus Ex franchise always had plenty of boss fights that had no indirect way to fight and nobody ever whined about that. They only started whining about it with Human Revolution.

>muh graphics
stick to fortnite kiddo

Yes, all other games in existence are talking about every day on Zig Forums

try again zoomer, no one likes HR but teens and early 20s zoomers

OP here, again I haven't played the first one but I thought the boss fights in this game were shit. The last one especially was just pointless. I brought the rocket launcher and never once had to use it.

Why is directors cut so shit?

Because far more people played HR and never touched first two games.

What do you mean?

>How come no one ever talks about this game?
it's because the current NPC audience for videogames can not handle story rich, immersive games.

>The last one especially was just pointless.
That's the one were you're fighting the woman hooked up to a computer? Okay. Yeah. That's a dud. But the other's are okay. If you want ridiculous over the top crazy shit boss fights then play Jap games. The west doesn't really think much of boss fights. They focus more on set pieces.

I loved this a lot actually, played MD recently and while I liked it too, that game was ridiculously short and got cut off right before the Climax. It ws so weird, "I'm going after the real bosses" "new game plus has unlocked roll credits"

I never played past the first mission because every time I got to the helicopter the game would freeze

It's great, I was going non-lethal for a while, but the raid after meeting Windmill happened and I just started blasting because I had the revolver with the explosive modification and around 80 bullets.

>tfw never pay anonymous X for the info
Get fucked retard, pic related

MD is best if you ignore the plot and do sidequests.

Makes sense

Yup, that fight was way too fucking easy. I've never seen a game where the boss fights get easier as you go along. Besides maybe ME2.

Do you think MD is worth checking out?

Did you try turning it off and on?

>that game was ridiculously short
It's not actually short. Both HR and MD took me about 25-30 hours to beat first time through. The problem is not a lot happens in MD while there's a lot of shit that happens in HR. In HR there's discoveries made, plot twists, locations infiltrated, etc., etc. In MD it just doesn't feel like you do much of anything.

Yeah I restarted it countless times but every time I did I had to sit through all he dialogue again so I gave up

Lower the settings then. Is this your first day using a computer?

Nah it was a common bug

What part of MD is that? I don't remember it. Or is it just some random thing in a map somewhere? They're not referencing that terrible GITS film are they?

this, I thought it was going to be complete fucking garbage based on all the info we had at the time. Then the leak comes out and it turns out to be pretty damn good.

MD had really good gameplay and level/quest design as well. Shame the story was dogshit and the whole thing felt like the first 2/3rds of a full game. From my understanding the execs decided to chop the game up and sell it as two parts, and that's why the ending is so anticlimactic, why the game feels too short, and why there are so many plot threads that just end
