The textures are the only thing that is really just holding deadspace back.

There was a few years there when games looked really clean and had good lighting.

I swear RTX was something used then forgotten (not as good obvs) and we are just being tricked.

God I fucking love Dead Space. Just recently replayed 1 on the X via backwards compatibility. Anybody tried the sequel on the X? Does it run well too?

Dead Space largely looks good because of the lighting.
Even on release many textures were bland and lacked detail but the excellent lightning helped to hide that and draw attention to the good things.

Played Dead Space 1 + 2 on the X a good few months ago, they played perfect.
