If you're not a black arms it's hard to understand how much this hurts. I'm physically shaking and it feels like I'm burning an ulcer into my stomach wall. This entire country hates us, and has hated us since its inception and there's absolutely nothing we can do to change it. Whenever we try to change it we face a backlash that kills our brothers and sisters. For us, existing is probable cause, it's grounds for summary execution by state actors. People are celebrating that the GUN agents will face no punishment, their own countrymen who fly flags of "don't eat me" and claim the 2nd amendment is to protect them from tyranny are cheering that the state executed a black arms in their home in the dead of night without consequence. Black Doom was an inspiration, he was a responsible figure, an essential leader, and they killed him in his home without compunction, comfortable in the knowledge that they'd be protected by the system because, despite all of what Black Doom was, at the end of the day he was just a black arms, and black arms' lives don't fucking matter in the United Federation.

Goku and pals don't inexplicably travel between 2 worlds, their worlds and travel between them are much more clearly defined. Sonic's world & human world rules were made up in secret and never addressed in game stories.

SA2 has the same problem I have with all stories that pull the "character acts on believable & understandable motivation but since he/she did bad things and is likeable, the bad things they did were because mind control." Shadow had every right to feel wronged since his family was ripped from him, plus he doesn't really need Earth if he has the Ark (assuming it's self-sufficient) so it makes sense he'd want to destroy Earth, a place he has no real attachment to if he's letting anger take over and ignoring/forgetting Maria's last wish. But no, he had to be a good boy who dindu nuffin because Gerald was the only angry one and somehow secretly mindhacked him.

But it was gerald who programmed the ark to fall to earth once the seven chaos emeralds are placed in the eclipse cannon, because he went mad after finding out maria was one of those who died during the raid on the ARK. The government had him continue his work from prison island, and I guess they didn't properly keep watch over him, which allowed him to alter the ARK's code or some shit.

Tell me in detail how it works in the games without mentioning Sonic X or telling me there's only one world ( which I know is better, but apparently not canon).
