This isn’t how people think though. Usually a patch for a new season is supposed to give you an idea of how they want characters to be, so the new season pass characters will be balanced this way. Why would I want to purchase DLC characters when THIS is how they want the game to be currently? It’s all a god damn mess.

When season 2 of DBFZ came out. A bunch of characters had things nerfed like level 3 oki and double supers. Among many other things. GT Goku got released a couple months later with all the things they took from other characters and reigned supreme for a year.
