fucking cancer faggot
None because I'm not a fucking sperg.
I am a sperg and this has never happened to me.
Closest example I can think of is Armored Core games having 50 items for each slot unlocked at the start with monitor-tier bad names feeling overwhelming and contributing to a bad overall experience. I'm also pretty bad at the game though.
Op I have the exact same experience every time
I made the same thread a while back
Maybe that's for the best user. You could've ended up like me spending 300+ hours in The Witcher 3 and after that comparing every open world game to it and being disappointed that it is not more like The Witcher 3. My taste in games is ruined forever.
>try to play GTA V after playing The Witcher 3
>GTA V feels like trash
Thank god that at least i can still enjoy games like Divinity:Original Sin 2 and Pathfinder:Kingmaker since they are both of a different type.
The customizability was the best part though.
You're not giving spergs enough credit, I'm a sperg and I find it hard to get invested in an RPG unless it's got massive cities and huge amounts of NPC's with optional quests.
why does that town look like a skelly holding a scimmy?
>and after that comparing every open world game to it and being disappointed that it is not more like The Witcher 3
Well, you're probably going to be a big fan of Cyberpunk then
There’s literally nothing to do in the city
>there’s literally nothing to do in the city
Have a (you). You are clearly starving for attention to post such low quality bait.
There's like 10 hours worth of quests in the city alone.
i used to be like this, now i enjoy stuff more by sticking to the main story at first and keeping side quests for later
helps with the pacing as well
FFXIV
is novigrad bigger than cyberpunk?
There's usually a few lulls in the main story that provides room to do side quests. I might be autistic but I find it weird to run off and kill 10 rats in a basement when the fate of the entire world is resting on whether I find the golden chalice of strength goblet boots before the evil Lord Gudgeon Manto destroys the Citadel of Magic Trouser Magics.
Daggerfall, but not because I was overwhelmed or some gay shit like that, the cities were so big they were a pain to walk around so I stopped playing
As I get older, it gets harder to appreciate open world stuff.
I just want either pure gameplay or a tight linear narrative.
what gmae?
I'm exactly the opposite, as I get older I play open world games like an episode of a TV show. 2 hours of play means doing a story mission and a few side missions before I have to go make dinner. The more extraneous content they have the better. Of course you can go overboard like AC:Odyssey and make it all repetitive garbage, nobody likes that shit.
Witcher 3
is game gud
You’re full of shit because there’s loads of quests but I do wish there were some side activities beyond gwent and fistfights. Maybe some other gambling, or fishing, or just something to make it feel even more immersive/realistic.
Yas
rdr 2 does it in general for me
i didn't quit it though
That was unironically Baldur's Gate for me.
Not like I wouldn't have seen it coming, however, what with the title of the game.
>Feel overwhelmed and intimidated by the sheer size of the city and the amount of npc's that your compulsive self needs to check out
>Quit game
what diagnosis is this?
>unless it's got massive cities and huge amounts of NPC's with optional quests
so, in summary, you don't play any?
Autism
In summary I don't play any shit ones, no
You can fuck prostitutes
I have never, ever, ever had this happen to me. Especially in some tiny ass bullshit town like the one you posted.
I feel ya, for me it was BG2, but I did finish it.
No issue with Planescape Torment though.
With standards like that your game library will be smaller than the PS4's
there is literally 2 games in fucking existence that even being to approach the shit you described
