Going to be getting the new series X controllers and can't decide if I should go with the Sonic blue.
Which series X controller are you getting?
Probably white, I don't really love any of the colors though.
>No gyro
None
>no gyro
hehe
White
Definitely leaning towards white but worry if it will get that yellow tint my 360 controller has.
I'll be getting the black with my Xbox Series X, but I'll also be using my Xbox One S controller in white.
>no gyro
Why is MS like this?
Just bought my x1s controller not that long ago so probably not
>Wanting gyro
No thanks. Xbox lets you use M+KB.
There is no reason not to include gyro. It only enhances the controller.
or just add gyro to the controller...
Elite Series 3 when?
What would you use gyro on? Being able to connect the thing to my fridge would be an additional, yet useless feature.
Are you dumb? No gyro means that xbox controllers are trash for emulating.
What game besides something like Splatoon has gryo ever been important to the overall gameplay experience beyond a gimmick of flicking the controller?
My 180 dollar series 2 elite controller died after 5 months of minimal use, so I’m not gonna buy another Xbox controller in my lifetime
Emulating what?
I'm getting blue controllers since:
>1. I love the colour blue.
>2. I love Sonic.
This.
Also, the DualShock 4 is a better PC controller than the Xbox One X controller, especially since it has RGB support.
I'm getting a DualSense and I hope it's just as good as the DualShock 4 if not better for PC games.
Did you just throw it away instead of sending it back for warranty
The wiiu for one.
Unless you prefer the design on the dualshock I don't really see how it's any better for PC games given the Xbox controller has native xinput for almost all games and even works on android phones right out of the box.
>those d-pads
No
What games on the Wii U?
Skyward Sword
A lot of games with any shooting action on the Switch have gyro support and it generally improves the gameplay experience. Being able to use the sticks for wide motions and gyro for precision is a great implementation in itself.
I prefer the DualShock design and it's better for retro games and the gyro controls and touchpad are great additions, especially the former.
BotW, Splatoon, Fatal Frame
>suddenly gyro is important
it's too bad sony's DualNonsense controller won't make use of it. I want superior triggers.
Gyro's always been good but it took until the Switch for developers to suddenly fucking wake up and make wider use of it. It's genuinely frustrating.
I guarantee if Nintendo ever remakes Skyward sword they are going to completely redesign the terrible motion controls and offer native controller support instead.
if Microsoft and Sony wanted to enhance the controller they'd put extra paddle-buttons on the backside of the controller
Why not both? Also, Sony controllers already have gyro. It's xbox that's the odd one out here.
