How will the remake handle this scene?

>our 98 year old boss in prison for over 20 years and somehow found out your identity sends his regards

Maybe this time theyll match the clothing

Why did Tommy answer honestly?

Wait this came out already?

In ten hours but I guess people leaked it already.

There's always someone that leaks stuff a day early

Cringe.

Wow they ruined eveng the ending

This nigga ain’t even finna played Mafia 2.

What's wrong with it?

EY VITO, WE GOT A CHALLENGE FROM THE SPOOKS

Meds don't age like normal people. They can do jumping jacks at 105 and then just drop dead randomly.

mah nigga Vito

Why is the voice acting so bad? Why did they have to replace the original voice actor? There was nothing wrong with him. Also they fucked up the last line, and he just dies by himself. He doesn't have his family run over to him. How do you fuck up such a good ending that didn't need any changes?

The point is that the Mafia never forgets. If Salieri can't get Tommy, somone else will get him on his behalf.

Holy shit this is travesty.

Vito and Joe now cannonicly in all 3 games.

>eeey Vito lets got take some moolies car
>don't the go south for the winter?

Joe wasn't in 3 was he?

Because the original va sounds like a generic white guy reading lines on paper.
I guess Hanger 13 thought it would be a more respectable sendoff for the character if he dies in his family's arms

They changed the original voice actor and changed the delivery of his lines. Its supposed to be a moving dialog that's him talking about life like he's still alive and not dead yet and is hopeful about the future. And in the original he just dies alone by himself out on the front lawn. No one comes rushing over to help him. They just turned everything up to 11 to make it more dramatic and turn it into baby food for retards. The devs don't understand the subtlety of the original game and how it was inspired by classic noir film, they treat it like its fortnite. youtu.be/dRRLf7jcgI4?t=1541

I thought it wasn't supposed to be a respectable sendoff.

He's Galante"s driver. Right at the very end.

i haven't played the first mafia in probably a decade but i fucking remember how uneasy, nervous and surprised that encounter was to this day.
now it's just some smug cunt accepting his fate.

He thought they were cops

I wish I could be pretentious

I like it better this way. Sam tells Tommy the mob is gonna find him no matter what, just like Frank and the girl. It's more dreary to me to think that Tommy spent his life waiting for the inevitable and making peace with the fact that it's gonna happen, rather than making a surprised face when two guidos come to his house and call him by his real name. I do think the baby drama stuff with him saying a final goodbye to his wife and kids was lame though.

Huh, so he is.

If you're playing this first and then going on to 2 the surprise that you're going to kill him is ruined

Jesus.

prefer the original desu
in this it sounds like he knows what's happening, almost like he was expecting it
in the original he sounded oblivious, like he had moved on with his life and wasn't expecting it, which made it feel more tragic

That always felt dumb to me since the original kept hammering in the message that the mob wouldn't forget about him

They changed Tommy's whole personality to be more gangsterlike instead of him being an awkward cabbie that suddenly decides to murder people because he got hit with a bat
