No, no they were not. They were next to nothing as villains. I'd even rate Zarp barely above Steele because Zarp at least appeared in Echo form a few times to antagonise the player. Steele was barely in the original game at all.

I dunno why but I've found all Borderlands DLC incredibly boring compared to the main campaign.
I wish it was fun, but its just not, even ones with good reps like this.
Probably the completely disassociated nature of them and focus on characters in a series I consider to have mostly unlikeable characters and writing

New-Us are some of the worst writing I've ever seen. They want to both have cheap jokes about death being merely a setback while also having storyline deaths with a large impact, and end up failing at both as a result.

i agree that the DLC is pretty bad. I enjoyed the DnD one becuase i was fucking around with a friend, and we made our own fun. that being said, it really was so much better than LOLEXPLOSIONS! and whatever else 2 had.
