My brother got my first one 10 years ago. Later got mine by myself on osrs.

I got it on my RS3 account pre-EoC, I'll do it at some point on OSRS but I only started playing properly again recently.

I didn't get a chance to do it until EoC, and it's an absolute joke now. You can clear the entire trial in like 30 minutes tops and you don't even need food until the last few waves.

it's one of the last things I needed to do, I made like 12k of each pot I needed for the attempt and then never got around to it

A long time ago on my main account. That's when I was poor and used a Rune Crossbow.

More recently I did it on an alt account with blowpipe, and holy shit it makes it like 50 times more tolerable. I highly recommend anybody struggling to get their Ranged to 75 and their Defence to at least 60, it makes it a cakewalk as long as you know the mechanics of the Fight Caves.

i enjoyed the preEOC era more than the 07 version, stuff like summoning and dungeonering was fun as fuck.

the whole point of italy rock is so you can bring the healers behind it and not get hit by jad

Not yet but I'm getting there. I'm about 3/4 the way to my quest cape and after that I'll probably do jad.

I liked Summoning a lot but I can understand why they won't retroactively add it into OSRS, it completely and utterly fucked the balance of the whole game. Dungeoneering on the other hand was just bloat, it was a minigame that for some reason had a skill dedicated to it; imagine if there was a "Castle Wars" skill.

That's kinda where Runescape peaked. There aren't anymore logical additions to the skillbook, all of the skills that were added after Hunting were just extremely specific things that could only be trained at one spot in particular, only had extremely niche uses, and didn't translate at all into realistic skills for quest flavor and such.
