I havent played the new one with npcs but I played a ton before that. EASILY the best map in a fallout game so actually tempting to reinstall if its filled with other people now, got kinda tired of robots

Only being able to save by sleeping in a bed and relying on auto saves was really a dumb decision because of bugs and crashes.

Jesus, user - I cannot imagine playing that game or buying Bethesda stuff after Creation Kit.

Play it if you enjoy mindlessly grinding for hundreds of hours to get bloodied legendary weapons so you can one shot every enemy in the game.

If you don't do this the game is unplayable because everything ends up being a bullet sponge because bethesda has started to balance the updates around the 1% of the playerbase who was autistic enough to grind and break the game. So now everyone who gets into it now and starts with nothing is punished with endless grind

The vanilla games are buggy and never get fixed by those "professionals" but they do get fixed by modders.

It does things a lot better than f4, story is much better, characters are okay. I think of it as just a looter shooter rather than an actual canon fallout.

This. This is the same problem with all fallout game mods, they're always very unprofessional looking. I'd much rather play the creators intention than a fan trying to divert from it. I'm always down to hear bethesda's voices.
