Hypnos is the only character I cant stand in this game

Even though there are so many possible builds, I often feel myself drawn towards the same few ones. Like I always want Zeus on the Lucifer gun or Aphrodite/Artemis on Excalibur.

If you can get the Artemis boon that deals damage when bloodstones pop out of enemies, that goes really well with Poseidon aspect.

So I have all keepsakes except I assume hades. Who should I use my nectars on lads? Will giving them to achilles increase my chances to get the spear aspect?

it scales with damage% bonuses, so family favorite/eris aspect/strong drink/etc

use them on the romanceable characters or the ones that give you a companion

Give them to the 6 characters that give you companions. Achilles, Thanatos, Meg, Sisyphus, Skelly, and Dusa.

Sisyphus's is the best one, by the way. You can also after a certain point give nectars to Bouldy for small random boosts in each run.

I think I'm missing something, but the game is harder now that I used the mirror upgrades. I could do reach the 4th stage consistently, but now that the bosses got more HP, new moves, and more damage, I can't even clear the hydra anymore. I got a lot of random currency, but they don't seem to help much, like Titan blood. And I can't get anymore since they are only given once per weapon yes? What do I do?

this whole "invest blood to unlock hidden aspect" mechanic is badly thought out, players are likely not going to want to invest hard earned blood until they've discovered all the aspects

I didn't know boss get stronger after mirrror upgrades

Flurry slash + Cursed slash with artemis support fire. Hoarding slash is also +damage so its good with high attackspeed. But yeah anything else after excalibur feels underwhelming.

It's not a problem, the upgrades aren't massive improvements unless you get to max rank and you start getting more blood later

Are you talking about Heat? Because Mirror upgrades are for Zag. Giving enemies more health and new moves is considered Heat. Heat is optional but a new level of heat gives you new rewards for each run. I'd recommend not giving enemies more HP starting off.

Have you unlocked all the additional parts of mirror upgrades? Maximized Rare/Epic chance for boons trivializes low difficulty clears.

Clear the game a few more times. Titan blood is for weapon upgrades and is pretty decent overall,
Once you have a few runs the game will let you add additional challenges that essentially reset the progress of the dungeon rewards letting you get more blood and diamonds.

Is a feature. Most people just start using God Mode when they realized the artificial difficulty. Fastest way to clear the game is just getting the two dashes and never touch the mirror again or switch weapons.

I guess that's why they're hidden aspects then. Play around with unlocks you like and maybe you'll stumble onto the secret one.

I got one just before Hades. That was the only one that appeared.
Athena was MIA, too.

I just hate the fact that 4th aspects can stay locked for way too fucking long you keep winning because all the characters will just be talking about story events each time you return.

Two questions, I heard you can change the difficulty? Where do you unlock this Heat option? Wiki says Hades will make a contract or something, but I see nothing.

Second, anyway to get the blood back from ill invested upgrades on the weapons? There's only 7 blood or something? 1x for each weapon used to kill Meg?

Damn, I never tried. I knew you couldn't enter the chaos gate with low enough health, so I had a hunch, but I was wondering if it's different.

Almost everyone in the game is a smug prick but Hypnos' particular flavour of smug prick is so juvenile and annoying.

I like the mirror upgrade that lets you reroll boons/wells over room rewards. It's a life saver if you're looking to find 2 healing items or Kiss of Styx.

You gotta beat Hades once.

If you use heat and beat a boss again you'll get the same reward, so you can very easily get more blood by killing the Furies.

I use God's Pride. Feels like it is useful a lot more often.

1 time for meg for each fury kill and 1 time for each hades kill per beat level.

Beat the game to unlock heat. For blood you can get it again each time you up the heat.

heat is part of the pact of punishment, which is unlocked after your first clear
once you have the pact you can get more blood/diamonds/ambrosia by adding heat

Once you beat Hades you get the option to add Heat to your runs. Starting with Heat Level 1 you get new rewards with each weapon, just like a fresh run (Blood, Diamond, Ambrosia, Blood). And no, I don't believe you can respec Titan Blood once you've spent it. Only Mirror upgrades.

I always pick the dash. With the dash it feels almost impossible for me to lose. I don't think there is another skill in the game that is best in slot no matter which weapon you are using.

Dash. Calls and Casts are an afterthought on 80% of my runs.
