Are there any 4k 75hz IPS monitors?

I'm ready to pull the trigger on the LG-27GL850-B

sweaty if you haven't atleast tried 120hz, you don't know what you're missing
its not just fps either literally everytihng is smoother
i encourage retard to go to best buy and just move a window around, shits smooth af

Both
Imagine having one monitor lmao

IPS or TN is the real question

Are you stuck on 60hz in your entire life?

144hz 1440p
older games look stunning this way
i got a PG279Q years back and it still wows me to this day. Not sure if theres a better model i should upgrade to?

ISP is better than any type of panel and high end IPS can reach TN response times or even better

4k a meme (i think)
i can't even distinguish pixels on a 1080 from my viewing distance, so what's the point?
only "real" benefit of 4k is reduced aliasing, which i suppose would make things like foliage, grass or powerlines look less ugly. which once again has never been a problem for me

same

>t. wasted his money to play CSGO, like a fucking spic he is.
So what do you do with this "smoothness" you speak of? Does it suddenly make you a cool guy?

Attached: 1502016506057.jpg (480x360, 12.95K)

This, I recently went from 1080p 60hz to 3440x1440 144Hz, and 144Hz isn't really that significant, the extra DPI on the other hand is amazing

>So what do you do with this "smoothness" you speak of? Does it suddenly make you a cool guy?
something is very wrong with your brain. perhaps you're stuck justifying a shitty purchase. in any case, higher refresh rates means more frames to enjoy. i hope you fix your retardation.

>LG-27GL850-B
What's so good about this one compared to others with similar specs?

Obviously it has g-sync but what else?

>perhaps you're stuck justifying a shitty purchase.
Im not the one trying to justify my meme display on Hiroshimoots crazy ride.

this the same nigga that said hd was a meme when we was on gamecubes and shit

1080@60 IPS

Quality Assurance

hi deany

sir ur display is shit and samefagging throughout this bread isn't going to change that

34" 3440x1440@144hz
27" is a bit too big for many people and many regret it
4K is too much for 27"

good colors, panel is good, no flickering (problem with many VAs), low blur, bright
the "1ms response time" is a marketing meme (also a lie) and not all that important

It's trash. No BFI mode.
Zoomers have no idea how to choose gaming monitors.

16:9 is obsolete, seriously. You can pay insane sums for 4k and still get a sub-par gaming monitor with shitty delays and colors, and the fact that even a 3080 / 3090 will not be running that stuff at 144fps. To top it off, 4k is so sharp 27" is a waste, you'd have to get a bigger monitor to justify the extra sharpness, and then you'd just have to push the thing back... basically meaning you pay EXTRA for something that takes more space and at that distance isn't noticeably better than 2k anyway.

A far better idea is to get a 1440p 34" ultrawide. Same height, but ~30% larger width than a typical 16:9. At the typical 27" distance of 2ft, it's almost as sharp as 4k from a bit further off (a helluva lot sharper than 1080p). Difference being, the ~30% extra width is MASSIVE in terms of immersion, gaming advantage, and just basic desktop / work usage. And because of the lower pixel count, you can actually run a 1440p 21:9 at *just* around 130-144fps on average, with a RTX 3080.

It's literally the most optimal choice where you get the best visuals AND performance.

Personally I won't be moving over to 4k until we get gaming-viable super ultra wide displays for it, and cards that can run that at 120fps average, minimum. Once you go wide, you don't go back. And there's a real good reason for that.

LG 34GN850-B has both gsync and freesync, and is literally one of the very best displays around right now. The nano-IPS panel gives it 30% more colour space than typical IPS panels, and this particular display is fucking lightning fast, and can be OC'd to 160hz. I got the previous version of the same display about a year ago and holy shit is it bad ass.

>BFI
why are you spamming this everywhere?
BFI is a meme technology nobody gives a shit about and utilizing it automatically reduces your monitor's brightness by half

Does PS5 have 1440p output?

Also, fps more important than resolution. Trust me.

based ultrawide chad

>27 inches
>4k

do you have your monitor 20 cm away from your face? then take the 4k, otherwise take 1440p

Yes you do give a shit. You think you don't because you STILL don't understand what's causing 90% of the motion blur smearing. PS: It's not pixel response time.
I'll spam it every chances I get. It's such an huge game changer and I feel bad being the only one who get to enjoy it.

Attached: Response times will never fix this.png (640x640, 60.81K)

Go for more frames. It makes a bigger difference than the resolution. It also depends on the games you play. If you play shooters go for 1440/144. If you play mostly openworld games the framerate is usually around 60fps anyway so you won't benefit too much from 144hz.

2007 called. They want their monitor back.

good thing that monitors can achieve low motion blur WITHOUT this chinkshit gimmick technology that makes 50% of your frames be pure black
youtu.be/t6JxuEQhU18

>hey bro my monitor has no motion blur
>NOOO BUT IT DOESN'T HAVE BFI IT'S SHIT

1:31 for the motion blur part

ive had 24" inch 1080p 60hz LCD for the last 10 years, but i want to go 1440p, not sure on how many hz.

i have my monitor about 20-30cm (1ft) from me, is there even any point to upgrading? i feel like 27" 1440p might be too big, but is 24" inch 1440p any good at that distance? are the extra hz really worth it? seems like itd be nice to have at least 100hz but they all seem pretty expensive. that and all this blacklight/backlight shit i see on rtings now, i turned all lights off in my room and my monitor looked like it had decent blacks or something... dont want to pick up some piece of shit thats all cloudy. how the fuck do you even buy a screen now?

What's the point of 4K on a 27 inch monitor?

That doesn't get rid of motion blur at all you fucking moron. BFI would make it look better.

>Ordered a 1440p 144hz ultrawide IPS monitor for less than $400 (prior to taxes, at least)
>Was supposed to arrive after October 8th
>Got an email this morning that it'll arrive this Saturday at the earliest, and a week from today at the latest

Response time is a meme. Just get an IPS

there are 120hz 4k monitors already
