When i play a wizard in diablo it's a completely different playstyle compared to for example a barbarian. In poe you just right click. Different guy btw.

Yeah, in diablo 1 you can choose to either play a wizard, teleport around the map and spam a single spell, or you can play a barbarian and quit the game because barbarian is dogshit.

The fuck are you talking about? Heist pulled approx 15,000 more players than last years Leagues, according to Steam charts. Heist has problems but its popular along casual players because

A) The problem is not the content being too hard, only streamers get killed by exploding skitterbots and

B) People get showered in loot in Heists. Which makes it bad for hardcore tradefags because of price inflation, but good for any casual shitter.

Diablo 3 was a fucking joke. All the difficulty modes. Just spamming attacks until the next mob runs into your over powered character. No strategy there.

Game is bloated as hell but is only hard to learn if you go HC straight, even then it's only sorta hard, crafts, some interactions. In SC you just follow a few different guides and try to learn what happens. After some time it will just click.

Not that guy but there is strategy involved in racing and if you want to be farming efficiently. In combat there is little to none if you built right.

If you think you dont need to use your brain in mapping, goes to show you never got past Twilight Strand in Act 1. Either that or you constantly die on maps because you rolled too dangerous mods for your character and keep trying to facetank everything.

the game's performance is AWFUL. my computer runs Warframe, a much more graphically intense game, at a smooth 60fps. poe? constant freezes and stuttering. not to mention the devs' horrible design philosophies and trying to stick to their original 'vision' of the game even though it could be vastly improved. They want to keep the old archaic unfun systems for 'authenticity'. They need a real arpg competitor so they're forced to adapt to the changing needs of consumers or be left in the dust.

By the time you reach 2nd floor with Barbarian you already completed the game with sorc. Which means sorc is the only optimal way to play the game.

There is nothing to learn. POE is a terrible game with constant nerfs so the only way to have a really viable end game character is to follow a build guide for a given season.

No it doesnt. You combine Necromancer spells with any decent AoE skill. The amount of actually good builds is quite narrow in Grim Dawn. You either play the build that clears the content fast, or you play your own hybrid that takes half an hour killing Skeleton key boss. Ironically good Grim Dawn builds have the same idea behind them as most Poe builds: Spam high damage AoE on mobs.

Actually a fair take, I don't know about who talks about PoE at all outside of hardcore ARPG fans, and most of them talk about grim dawn not PoE. It does seem like nobody knows about it.

Comparing PoE to Grim Dawn makes about as much sense as comparing World of Warcraft to Dragon Age, one is an MMOARPG, the other is an ARPG, stop doing it.

Because Diablo 3 is linear and short. There is not other game like this on market and it is free.

I tried Cyclone Scion last league and was really struggling around ~94 or so once I started juicing red maps. I just kept get popped by stuff even with 6.5k life.
