Boredom. Get a refund
Reddit game
A reall good game. Enjoy
Boring shit hyped by the kind of retard who unironically uses "soul" and "kino" to describe things they like
movement options are quite reduced at the start, so have some patience.
a dogshit game
>any tips for beginners?
Hornet boss fight is the biggest pleb filter in the second area, and the world really opens up once you get to the City of Tears
Other than that just have fun and learn as you go, there's dozens of hours of content
Also you're gonna get a lot of shitposting in this thread. It's funny, no one seemed to care when the game first came out
An actually good game
you're in for a good time
tips
>play with the music on
>explore
>in bossfights dont get thirsty, observe first and know that living is more important than doing damage
You can pogo off enemies and spikes by properly timing downward attacks while midair
Area darkened = Places you havent gone yet, you would be amazed how many people cant get that
>what am i in for
One of the best metroidvanias.
Overhyped indie trash
Even bigger pro tips
>If you're patient, read absolutely everything you can. It pays off
>Make a good use of your spells. The first spell you get deals three times your standard nail damage and it doesn't require proximity. That's handy. Most people underestimate the spells when they're new.
>have fun
>dont look at r34.xxx
>watch mossbag after 100%ing the game
Here's your (you). Now stop littering the thread
The great game of the last decade
As far as tips press down and attack on spikes to propel yourself off of them
It’s odd timing but you’ll get it
Be patient. The game will kick your shit in if your are reckless but is more than manageable otherwise.
You are going to be lost, game won't tell you what to do or where to go, don't let that discourage you, game is about exploring, take your time enjoy the music, environments and combat.
Filtered plebs, cope.
Game is literally a corridor till city of tears
>any tips for beginners?
Learn how to fucking Pogo.
try not to let any early frustrations turn you off
>explore
>fight hard enemy
>die 30 times before you can beat it
>repeat until you finished the game
fucking chore of a game and so boring, I was waiting for it to get good but it never did, have fun repeatedly killing the same bosses
This is bait right?
not really, especially if it is your first time playing
No? Left is the only place you can go before fighting Hornet
Here's a tip for literally every game: just fucking play it
- You can pogo of off almost anything can damage you; flying enemies, spikes, big worms, etc...
- If you’ve got the time, read EVERYTHING
- Beginning is slow/boring but it starts to pick up by the second area
>play game
>die a lot
>have to play the section again
WOOOOOW
>any tips for beginners?
Get a map that shows where all of the map sellers are in game. The save points aren't always easy to find without the in game map, and they're far enough apart that missing one could mean a long corpse run back if you die. Like, I get that they wanted to try something different, but the map system in game is just clunky. Super Metroid and SotN have 100% perfect map systems. There is no reason for a Metroidvania to not just copy what they did 1:1.
>what am I in for?
Play the game you just downloaded to find out.
>any tips for beginners?
Play the game, it gives you information on how to move and attack, which is beginner information.
Are there any games that have an interesting of a world to explore as HK's?
Yea, certainly
But 2d platforming worlds? Certainly not imo
>what am I in for
Frustration
La-Mulana
doesn't need to be a metroidvania or platformer imo
That's not what you said, you said "Game is literally a corridor till city of tears" which is not true.
>No? Left is the only place you can go before fighting Hornet
This ain't true either.
>any tips for beginners?
Just because the game doesn't explicitly tell you can do something, don't assume you can't do it.
Use your head.
