DKC2 is one of the best games ever. Assassin's Creed 2 was also far better than the first. Others have already said Super Metroid.

This is subjective. There are things that Tropical Freeze does better and things 2 does better. If anything they are even in terms of overall greatness.

No. Nocturne was a huge step back and the only thing it has going for it is atmosphere and combat (not general gameplay which it's one of the worst actually). Every other aspect was done better in early games and the combat part has since been surpassed
