2020... I am not forgetten
rocketdude is kino and the real highlight of the update
I've spent two days playing the parish and gliding over the finale bridge while everyone else on my team flies into the water
The pitchfork is shit.
Shovel too. Useless addition with high spawn rates.
they're not that bad, the issue is that they're simply not the fire axe with the most generous swing arcs in the game, you can spin in circles swinging the fire axe and destroy an entire horde
This update convinced me to finally try out this game. And it's actually super fun, gameplay is satisfying and the maps are engaging.
My question is, how should I "progres" through the game? I've already played through most of the campaign maps on normal, but I see there's a bunch of modes to choose from, what order should I go through them?
I literally don't care about damage or swing or anything.
They feel like you're swinging plastic toys around. They don't feel like they have any impact especially the shovel.
The pitchfork is laughable too.
inb4 butthurt compfaggots and people spewing outright lies
Yeah pitchfork feels weak as shit.
Don't play versus until you've played campaign a bunch. There are a lot of faggots there who will get shitty if a new player dares to rear their head in that mode. Even then, after you've got competent at PvE you still have to learn how versus works, meaning the various ambush spots, death charges, SI synergies, etc, so I don't know how this sweaty-ass community expects new players to learn how to play PvP in L4D2 if new players are forbidden to play it by punishment of votekick.
I don't ever remember versus being this bad back when I used to play it all the time. What the fuck happened?
What did you say about pitchforks, you little shit?
People actually cooperated through voice communication back then and were there to have a good time. You had some bad eggs, but it was generally pretty alright. Now nobody fucking talks and just expects you to back them up as they suicide rush into the survivors as a boomer. That being said, this update has brought back people who are actually interested in trying to cooperate in a cooperative game. Just had a pretty decent game where both teams were on allchat bantering to each other and got some good syncs going on as the SI.
See that's how I remember it, I also don't remember those modded 10v10 servers ever being so cancerous either, is it really just sweaty autists ruining it for everyone else?
I said the pitchfork in l4d2 feels like complete shit compared to yours Caleb.
>is it really just sweaty autists ruining it for everyone else?
Go look at the stickied thread on the L4D2 Steam forums.
>community update
It's like a forced mod pack rather than an actual update.
It doesn't take a fucking genius to figure out why you don't let your community handle your games.
Next time Valve should ask people making horsecock mods to make their next update, maybe this time it might improve something.
>Hi there, I'm Wolf
I might vomit
How the fuck is that stickied? I guess it's run by some volunteer and Valve doesn't care.
valve always leaves shit "to the community", the problem is that they aren't very good at actually picking good community members
Steam community mods are fucking cancerous assholes, they're not even fucking affiliated with Valve.
>How the fuck is that stickied?
The dude who made Rayman's Mutation Mod is a moderator and stickied it.
Leaving anything official to the community is a retarded move in general, because everyone have their own idea on how parts of the game should work without ever considering about how it affects the game overall.
Not saying developers are always right (just look at TF2 MyM) but in general they have a better understanding on how a change would affect their game in general, with the community, if some retards team together to say "The Charger dies too quickly in Versus, I think he should have 5000000 HP", people in that same community will agree about it without considering that now the rest of the game is unplayable for everyone else, they don't care, their part of the game is now "fixed".
Is there some backstory to that guy I don't know about?
>implying mym wasn't the cause of compniggers
>public versus games should be for the elite ONLY!
Does anyone have a good suggestion on what weapon mods to use?
How many of you actually play survival maps?
It's the devs trying to bank on the compniggers.
If it was their doing, a lot of items would be banned in competitive mode rather than trying to "balance" them.
I've played the mcdonalds survival map for over 20 hours
It was them trying to bank on compniggers at the behest of compniggers, they're both at fault as far as I'm concerned.
that map on the workshop?
L4D2 is more soulful than 1, easily. Love the setting.
>that map on the workshop?
i think there's only one, yeah
Not as far as I know, I just thought it was notable how these circlejerking fags manage to get themselves into positions like that so they can circlejerk harder.
>look down
>can't see feet
That alone makes the soul level equal with L4D1
L4D1 works, L4D2 was an half-assed game made in one year.
or alternatively dont play versus ever, since it's populated by 3rd world boomers that take the game very seriously for some reason
