Better not be Death, he's gonna be too OP for this game. Where my Rincewind bros at?

Rincewind is too useless, can't do anything but run.
Maybe Susan but that's just another anime swordswoman and there's enough in Smash.
Gonna have to go with Luggage.

>Where my Rincewind bros at?

"I wanna be the first character in Smash to say fuck!"

How about Rincewind & Luggage? Or Sam Vimes.

Never really thought of Vimes as a combat character. Carrot could be but again that's just "guy with sword".
Werewolf might be cool.
Could the Librarian beat DK in a 1v1?

>Never really thought of Vimes as a combat character.

He grew up in the Shades, he's a tough little bastard and a dirty fighter. Final Smash is Vimes unleashing the Beast. "THAT! IS!! NOT!!! MY!!!! COW!!!!!"

Can't wait to main two flower

Carrot would be a good choice.

Are Discworld books a good gift for my 6yo nephew or is he too young for books like these?

Vimes main reporting in.

Worst case, read one to him.

I read them when I was a kid, I don't think you can learn anything bad from it but a lot of the humour just went way over my head.

>not the Vimes Elbow™

Susan and the Death of Rats, please.

>Discworld Death meets Castlevania Death

AMATEUR.

I wasn't meaning that he could learn anything bad but that it could be too complex for a little boy.

In Reaper Man overall and straw hat.

discworld spoilers
>ha ha the dungeons and dragons universe is quite unrealistic ha ha
>i'm too smart for dungeons and dragons. (quotes and references to pop culture) ha ha "go ahead ... bake my quiche" sounds like the movie thing

it depend, but I dont think he can do anything, he's just a mon

He's not going to understand the jokes about economics and insurance policies.

I see, thanks. I'm doubting between DW and The Hobbit.
What?

That's his forward smash. Also, let's talk Spirits.

>Librarian
>spirit battle is a small red Donkey Kong with male!Robin (representing Rincewind, because he was the Librarian's assistant for a while)
>Spirit ability is Banana Gun Equipped

If Death is a playable character that should totally be an alt.

Favourite book?
Thief of TIme

Small Gods

Same.

>Lobsang/Jeremy spirit battle
>Umbra Clock Tower
>Pit with gold alt and Dark Pit
>Timers spawn constantly
>Shadow assist trophy appears

Wee Free Men is intended for younger children, maybe start with that.

I guess you'd hogfather another one but I can't think of more.

Chef Death.

I read the first book maybe a year ago, and I thought it was alright, but didn't really make me smile like the later books of hitchikers guide
is the rest of the series good?

Depends on which character set it focuses on.

Yeah, the first two books were written before Pratchett hit his stride and a lot of characterization is really off, you shouldn't start with them. You should start with the Night Watch series, this chart will show you which books are part of which series.

that's stupid. just read the books in the order they came out ffs

Guards! Guards!
Night Watch was just the best cast.

i read a book once

As long as you don't read the first two books first, which Pratchett himself said you shouldn't do, it's all good. Like I said, a lot of characterizations were still off because the series had just started and lot of stuff hadn't been finalized yet. Like if you compare Death in Color of Magic to Death in Mort, there's a world of difference. And the Guilds weren't properly fleshed out yet, the Assassin's Guild is just a bunch of thugs in the first book.
